Great for kids with sensory issues!
We are currently facing many firsts with our 4 year old. Glasses, patch, PT, OT, Speech, Autism evaluation, heart monitor, preschool.The eye doctor gave her a patch with an elastic strap, and the biggest meltdown ensued! She couldn't handle the strap and the tightness.This eye patch saved us! It works so much better with her glasses anyway. It is very soft, and the cute pattern makes it more appealing to her. We lost our first one and I immediately reordered. There was no way I was going through two more months (or more) of patching without it!

So nice if you’re Dr ok’s it.
The dr ok’d this type of patch and my 5year old had no complaints about these. I do wish they were about half the price. Even in a multipack.

If you are patching you should consider vision therapy
If you are using a patch for your child's vision I highly recommend looking into vision therapy! Patching does not help the eyes work together and I had no success with my daughter for 3 years wearing a patch. It ruins their self-esteem and it's mean to block the vision in their good eye. You should try patching one of your eyes and putting something to obstruct the vision in your other eye to see how it feels. Behavioral vision therapy helps the eyes work together!

For very small glasses
My daughter developed a condition that gave her double vision for a time and she needed to wear an eye patch for awhile. I thought these would be perfect because they’d fit over her glasses so she wouldn’t have to feel a patch touching her skin all day. But even though she was only 11, these were exceptionally small and barely fit over her glasses. They are colorful, the designs are beautiful, they are soft, and I think they have the potential to work really well… as long as the person using them was a very young child with tiny glasses (like a baby or toddler). They were much too small and did not work well for my pre-teen.
