Mini House: Old MacDonald's Barn Board book – Picture Book, October 1, 1993

I love every one of these books by Peter Lippman. And so do the grandkids when they visit grandma and grandpa. We still have Noah's Ark, purchased about 25 years ago!

I bought this book for my granddaughter l I have 2 others that are different and she enjoys pulling these out and looking at the books. She has been fascinated by these for 4 years now and her baby brother will likely enjoy them too.

I was gifted this book back when it came out in 96' and it very quickly fell apart, but was lovingly taped and glued back together. My 2 year old recently uncovered the old book and fell in love, so I bought him a new printing.I was worried that the book would fall apart, but it is bound totally differently now and holds up extremely well to semi-rough play. It has been a couple months and other than the pig on top of the barn being chewed off by the cat, the book looks good as new!Fun fact- the original printing did not have the donkey page or the birds that hatched in the loft page. The final pages showing the dance are also slightly different since the new version has a donkey in it.

Don't care much for the text, but our toddler liked the novelty of it (good for car trips). But not well bound on the side (opposite side from the pig looking out of the window). So if you don't have a very gentle child, this won't last long at all.[We also use it for playing farm with our lego, etc.]

He likes farm animals and the sounds they make.He really like the book.

I bought 4 of these books; 3 Pigs Garage, Mother Gooses Nursery Rhymes, Old MacDonalds Farm and Noah's Ark. We love them all. The colors are great, the story is interesting in each and they keep my son intrigued. Highly recommend. We saw a couple in the stores locally and saw the added offerings on Amazon, glad we purchased all of them.

This book is extremely small, about the size of the palm of your hand. It also ripped immediately once I opened it.

I have a very old version of a Mini House Book that has gone thru 4 grand children. The book has been tapes, glued and repaired many times. We now have a new Grand Daughter who at 1 year old has taken to laying on her stomach and examining page by page various books. We decided that it was time to replace the old book with new ones. She loves the new ones but continues to go back to each one. Hope these books last for 12 more years.
