AFA Auto Trim Removal Tool [12 Pcs] ~ Strong Nylon Won't Break Like ABS

These tools, while inexpensive, did exactly what I needed to them to do for a project replacing the outside mirrors on my truck. I ended up using several of the tools included in the set to accomplish the task. There are tools in the set that I have no idea what they are designed to do, so a list showing each tool and its suggested use would be helpful. After removing the inner door panels to access the mounting bolts for the two mirrors, there was some blunting and damage to the plastic pry bars in the set but they are still fully functional and usable for future tasks. The metal tools all came through the task without damage. The tools did not cause any damage to the door trim so having the softer plastic in the tools probably was a plus. All in all, I am satisfied with this purchase.

I ordered these tools so that I could remove the dash on my Mercedes. I had to replace the blend door for my heater. I could not afford the expensive ones, so I purchased these.They work pretty well. They sometimes can't take the stress and they bend. But, I quickly figured out that if a clip is too strong, just use two of the prying tools.The keys for the radio worked perfectly.I recommend these for the "do it yourselfer" but not someone that makes a living in this type of area.

Like other reviewers, I had to replace a mirror on a 2010 Ford F150. There is a particular cover piece that was notoriously difficult to remove and one particular tool in this set made the job easy. There's nothing fancy about the bag they arrive with but these tools did the job.There are quite a few tools in here that remain a mystery to me. I would have liked some kind of PDF that explains their potential use.Overall, well worth the money I spent on them.

Great tools. Fitted a backup camera to my car and these made getting the trim panels off without damaging anything pretty easy. Set is pretty comprehensive for the price. They are sturdy and I did lever on them pretty hard. Would have given a full 5-stars except the tip of the pointy plastic tool snapped off almost immediately (top 3mm). Other than that tip, which is not really much of a deal, am really pleased and would recommend them highly.

Got these to remove stereo insert panel on 1995 Ford Taurus. Worked really good! Also needed to remove C panel and rear deck cover to repair a sunscreen on a 2005 Mercedes C230. Allied me to disassemble without breaking a bunch of clips as well as huge savings. Mercedes wants nearly a $1000 to replace this assembly with a new one and the only issue was broken teeth from a plastic gear that costs about $14. Can disassemble interior parts now with confidence that few if any plastic retainers so commonly used in new cars can be taken out and reinstalled with little issue.

Bought this set primarily for removing door panels. Several of the tools I have no idea what they are used for. The prying tools did work but not great or as well as I had hoped. They are simply TOO flexible to do an efficient job of panel removal. I really had to work at it to get the panel fasteners to let go.

I purchased this kit to remove some interior panels of my 2003 Ford Explorer. The prys I used worked well. Good rigidity, but not so hard they marr the panel.It has more tools than I currently have use for. I definite keeper for other projects!

I used the tauto trim removal tools the dy they arrived and they work perfect. They are strong yet flexible don't break like plastic and don't scratch like the cheap metal ones. Very satisfied and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for trim removal tools.
