I love my Go Chair! I find it very convenient to use in going to the mailbox to collect our mail or just joining my husband and our dog when he (my dog) has to go out to void and just going for a nice walk on a lovely day in nice weather conditions! My husband loves it now that I can join him❣️It is very comfortable as easy to handle. I’ve used it in many places and if you take it apart, you can pretty much load it into the back of your vehicle or in the trunk of your car, depending on the type automobile you are using. My husband & I go quite a bit, so since we have made two trips to Va. Beach bringing my go chair with us I speak from experience; as we have transported my go chair in our 2018 KIA NIRO (in two parts) and the following. year we made. a trip to Va. Beach in my KIA SOUL!Loved using my Go Chair on the 3 mile walk/stroll with my husband on the boardwalk and when we went to the. Neptune to see/hear the Navy Band in concert! I have had my Go Chair for almost 3 years. I love it

Due to some corrective orthopedic surgery I am unable to walk for about 3 months. I knew that after the initial recovery from surgery, I would want and need to return to my work as a hospital administrator. In anticipation of this, we researched wheelchairs and scooters for both rent and purchase. I knew I would need something that could work at home and in my professional life, something that would give me freedom and flexibility with a reasonably professional appearance. The combinations of price and functionality we found were disappointing - those that would give me the needed mobility and flexibility were really expensive to rent, or not available for rental at all. Then we found this. Although it is not inexpensive, relative to the other alternatives that would meet my needs it is a smart choice financially. I have now been using the chair for 2 weeks. It is compact, highly maneuverable and well made. It breaks down into as many as 4 pieces, making it easy to transport. It is comfortable. The batteries hold their charge as advertised. It has lived up to every aspect of the product description provided by the manufacturer.Update after several months of use - I would not change anything about the initial review but would add the following. We assembled and dis-assembled the chair 2-3 times per day (moving up and down stairs, transporting to and from work, etc). The device that connects the chair post to the base is a bicycle-style clamp - i.e. a larger version of what connects a bike seat to the bike frame. It is difficult to get tight enough that the seat does not swivel when the chair is in use. Also one of the wheels began making a squeaking noise and we were unable to determine how to lubricate or otherwise stop that.

It would be helpful if this wheelchair had more clearance. 2 inch clearance would solve problems. Otherwise it is satisfactory but I must qualifybecause it has not been used much. After much shopping and comparison, this is a good size for us at a good competitive price. Have not disassembled for transport but it looks easy to do and the pieces are not too heavy. Note, we have only owned for approx. a month.

I have been hesitant about buying one of these, but my concerns were taken care of by this great chair. It is so easy to drive and very comfortable to sit on. For the first time in 2 years I was able to go to our back yard. It runs great inside, outside on the driveway and also on the grass. It feels like I have been set free.

Worked fine the first few weeks, but then the charger stopped working while on a cruise to Alaska. Now the battery wont take a charge. Too many problems and no one to contact directly to get it resolved! Piece of crap! No place to fo to replace the inoperative battery. DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR.

My 89 year old father LOVED this chair! Perfect for his needs and getting around. We had a small problem a few months into the purchase and the company helped resolve the issue! I could not be happier with the resolve and with the product! I highly recommend both with 100 percent confidence that you will be happy. Easy to put together, and again, wonderful company to buy from. Happy customer all the way around!

I was checking this out at a neighborhood dealer. While the salesman was demonstrating how to take it apart he broke it. The battery pack would not release and he said because it was a poor design. Has anyone else had this happen to them?I would like to add that we bought this chair and so far no problems with the battery pack. However I haven't been able to find a good ramp that will work with this chair. When going up the ramp my front wheels came off the ground about 4 or 5 inches and that was scary! So needless to say I won't be using that ramp anymore.

I needed a chair to save my shoulders from using a walker. This chair is amazingly comfortable and easy to use. It easily fits through standard doorways and over my 3/4" to 1" thresholds.
