Excellent product

Awful. Food goes lukewarm (at best) very quickly, even if you preheat the jar and fill it to the top so there's no air space. Am literally going to throw this away and buy something locally.

Works well but at the end of the listed keep hot time the soup or coffee in the Thermos is only warm, not hot. I have not tried this with anything cold, but expect that in both cases the time listed should be reduced by one third. It is nice to have a spoon in the lid, but I treat it as a spare, I keep a real spoon in my lunch bag. I also like the plastic liner in the bottle, because I use a real spoon I am not concerned about damaging the glass which is protected from scratching by the liner.

It doesn't keep soup hot.

What I wanted is what is shown in the picture. THERMOS CO. 7221 - Hot & Cold Food Jar The item in this sale has a solid handle, should have read the description better. This will not fit in a pack well or lunch box. It's much easier to shop and get exactly what you want when they use the actually picture of the item and not something similar. Does keep the food warm and holds a good amount. *After using this twice it leaked (at school). In all fairness it was on it's side but it still should not have leaked, thank goodness it only had water in it this time.I would give this only 2 stars but I can't change my rating after posting my initial review, I can only edit the review.

Great merchandise.

I purchased this item for my husband. He works outside as a landscape/garden and maintence. Since he isn't near a microwave to warm up food, i purchased the food jar for his burritos. Unfortunately the item was damaged upon received. So we were not able to test and enjoy it. Had to return.

I actually use this to carry water for my dogs on walks and to the dog park. It's perfect - they can drink out of the top like a bowl. Only feature I wish it had was clips attached so that I could attach a strap to carry it on my shoulder.
