I want the best oil available -
I read a whole bunch and the "hydraulic tractor oil" subject. You do not want to buy a cheap oil, you'll payfor it later. This oil could and will probably go several thousand hours with only an annual filter change.Takes heat real well and is synthetic which helps it perform in all kinds of weather. that's my 2 cents

Great Value for the Performance!
I bought this from a local supply house, not from Amazon. The price is comparable. I have a Mahindra MAX 28 HST that was due for a hydraulic fluid change. Prior to change to Schaeffer 315, when I ran it several hours the tractor transmission would get fairly warm. The transmission housing would steam if I washed the tractor down immediately after running the tractor. Now the transmission only warms up slightly. The tractor has excellent performance with this oil. No issues what so ever. I am sold on buying very good fluids for machines that last for years.I did research on another well known ALL synthetic brand which cost 2X as much as the Schaeffer 315, the full synthetic brand was factionally just a little bit better if you read the spec sheet, but the price difference! The very small increase in specifications didn't merit that much in a cost increase. I thought Sheaffer 315 was a definite step up from standard hydraulic fluid and would work very well in my tractor.It has been 4 months and 40 hours. I am happy with the decision,

AMAZING TRANS FLUID!
i use this in my 47re in my cummins. my trans has never shifted or felt so smooth and torque convetter lockup is smooth as butter no chatter! I will never use another fluid period. ALL of schaeffer products are top of the line dont be afraid to use any of them!
