which one would be better for zomies Cold Steel 97MKM Magnum Kukri or Cold Steel 97KMS Kukri Machete?

Magnum, hands down. More chopping power to breach zombie skulls. For woodcrafting, the multi plus is my pick. Either is a backwoods bandsaw when batoned through a branch of small log.

what is the blade material? Carbon or Stainless steel?

1095 carbon. Has a coating, but keep the edge oiled to prevent rust.

Is it sharp enough to cut through brush?

It's sharp enough to cut through very light brush, but anything larger than the diameter of a pencil will require either more effort unless you put a better edge on it. I used a belt sander & a 1000 grit belt to put an edge on it that will cut through 1inch branches with ease. The edge will hold up for a long time because the blade seems to be well tempered.

how thick is the blade /

Not as thick as a full tang survival knife but thick enough to take a real beating. I have had this knife for over a year and used it for everything from bushes and weeds in the yard to clearing shooting lanes for my tree stand. An added bonus is that the Kukri shape makes this very easy to swing and generate speed so when the Zombies attack I will have this knife in one hand and my SOG tomahawk in the other.
