Own 1st gen design of this device ( U-bolt design) it’s flaw is the amount of effort it takes tighten the two nuts exactly the same as well as the heel is not sufficiently offset to apply the correct pressure to stay secure when towing heavy loads (6000 lb Travel trailer.) However with the price of $10 it was worth it to try.This design (one central bolt and a loop cantilevered off a heel) I thought would be superior.The good - well made in the USA, sturdy materials. I could see no way to produce these in the US for $10 (if the part is selling for $20 then the cost to manufacture has to be $10 or less to meet the standard for a healthy bus model) so the manufacturer is likely breaking even but these are likely built from scrap materials from other manufacturing process. So the scrap bins don’t end up full, and that’s a win for the manufacturer bc they are producing a part from scrap that they would have to incur overhead to address.The Not so good- it takes some fiddling to get the square loop positioned correctly so the bolt applies pressure to the receiver hitch stab.Overall - the fit and finish are good value for the price. The durability is unknown at this time.

I used this to quite our rv hitch but it bent and loosened up after 16 hours of travel.

Looks to be a good product but doesn't work on 2024 Toyota Sequoia due to the SUV tow hitch design, thickness and projection past face of bumper area
