I left a review of the cartridges elsewhere; this is the device they interlock with.I’m very happy with the results of this micro needling kit, I am very happy with the device function! I bought it a few months ago, used it and I have to state here I’m not afraid of micro needling any more! Really impressed with the memory function and rechargeable battery…for a home device it’s state of the art, I feel, and my nicest skin care implement. I have deep acne scars from many years ago, but after using it just once, they faded and I actually liked looking at my reflection again! Skin tone was better, it evened out, my dark circles under my eyes were lighter, and it felt like I had an expensive spa treatment. I feel so lucky to have been able to try it myself, since I can’t just go to a spa and be spoiled like that. This device was within my budget, is finely crafted and should be available to all curious enough to try it on their own.It’s a petite design, small and very easily maneuvered, yet has heft to it due to the battery and internal mechanics. I really like the aqua coloring, too.Use the numbing cream, get the smallest size and only order for the single treatment, since months later I’ve found my batch doesn’t numb as strongly as it did when I first got it. I would buy this again if my current unit were lost. Very happy!

Product was easy to use and did a great job! My skin looks fantastic! Definitely watch the Dr. Pen how to video on YouTube first. Plan to buy lidocaine creme to numb face before you use it. Also plan to buy hydrologic acid and hydrologic acid face mask for your sessions as well. Polyurethane gloves are also highly recommended. Worth the money with this purchase! You avoid paying hundreds of dollars per session at the dermatologist.

I am in my 60s & have been seeing a Esthetician for awhile now. She works with alot of people, but her specialties are 40 & above. It is not so much the money for her, but that she CARES & skin talks to her, as she can read skin. I have had some needling done with her & set up with some great face creams/serums. I took this PEN in to her so she could look at it and explain to me how to use this. She Loved this Pen. However, she did explain to me the HOW to us it & HOW often, WHY & WHAT happens to our skin by using this procedure, in medical terms. Due to the fact that we are killing the skin..sort of speaking... the skin needs at least 4-6 weeks to do its Healing & Turnover. Of course first we numb it then add the serum. She also told me to run it up & down in areas first all over the face, then reapply the hyaluronic & go back & fourth. Then I must WAIT 4 WEEKS (because I had been doing this already) before using again. I like the pen. It has 3 battery's that you can charge, so you have them set up. It can be plug into the wall socket too. Very nice put together pen and I think it is going to hit out here soon for being one of the best pens around. I would like to share some settings with you that I got from my professional skin dr.(esthetician). She said keep the speed between 1-3 right now. Speed shows in the small window on pen.FOR SETTINGS...Forehead-(.25-.5) Under Eye-(.25) Cheekbone-(.25/.5) Upper Lip-(.25/.5) Crows feet- (.5) Cheek-(.75/1.0) Nose(.25) Chin-(.5). 2 passes once up&down & once back & fourth, applying new serum between each go. Wait 4-6weeks depending on your type of skin too. Some of these settings can be adjusted in time. I sure hope this helps someone out here in cyber space. This is the info I was looking for. Be Safe, micro-needling tooo much can cause the skin to harden because of damage done by overuse, before giving your skin time to heal.Hope this info helps!

I'm a licensed Esthetician, so I do have skill in skincare and devices. But, this Dr Pen was very user friendly and has great power and durability. I'm impressed and plan to use it a ton more!

I use this gadget to relieve the pressure in my forehead. I use the light mode to practice. It leaves the skin soft. I suggest practicing first.

I'm an Aesthetic nurse and bought this to compare it to the dermapen I have previously used. It's very easy to use,works just like the more highly expensive ones! I absolutely love it and my clients are amazed. Here is a picture of my hubby, I tested it out on him before using it on my clients. After only one treatment he was amazed. Here is how to use it: double cleanse your face, apply topical numbing if needed, let it sit for about 25-30 min, wipe it off and dry the skin with some alcohol using a 4x4 gauze, now apply a gliding medium like hylarunoic acid or vitamin C serum into a small dish to prevent having to constantly touching your serum bottles and contaminating them, apply to one section at a time with a fan brush. Start off with the forehead and work your way down to the cheeks, chin, nose and decolletage area. If at any point your pen isn't gliding or catching on the skin add more serum, you're going to do circular, horizontal, vertical at every section and a stamping motions to the more deeper scarring areas. I use a .5mm on forehead, 1-2.5mm on cheeks, 1.5-2mm on chin, 1-1.5 on nose depending on the skin and scarring, then for stamping motions I do it on 2.5mm to only the deeper scarring areas,Pin point bleeding is normal avoid contamination by touching to many things while using the pen, please wear gloves even if it's on your own face. Remember to use a headband to keep your hair from falling onto your face. After you have completed the treatment, grab a damped esthetic gauze to wipe off residue and apply a cooling sheet mask to help calm the skin. Use the remainder of the hylarunoic acid or vit C serum in your dish to the entire face and neck pat it into the skin don't rub. Don't forget your SPF and avoid any harsh products on your face for the next couple days. Don't get impatient your skin can take up to a month after one treatment to see results. Take before and after pics for your own progress. Remember to use a gentle face wash for morning and night starting the next day, keep your skin hydrated meaning moisturize, or a nice repair oil, I love the herbal skin solutions Neroli repair oil. Use clean pillowcase and also feed your body some vitamin C &E, and or glucosamine too. I'm very big with internal and external healing when doing microneedling treatments to help with faster wound healing. I am also a Dermatology nurse so wound care is very important in my practice.
