The perfect mix of sweet and sexy!!!
Staci Hart has a knack for dramatic flare and lyrical prose, which Gilded Lily had in spades! This is the second book of the Bennet Brothers series.Kassius "Kash" Bennet is jaded. He's been burnt by love which makes him distrustful. He's got the gardener gene and the love he has for the greenhouse shows in the beauty he creates with the flowers. He's not shy when it comes to putting Lila in her place or calling her a priss. So naturally, he's the one tasked to work with the edgy wedding planner."She was a tree aflame with autumn. The strike of a match, embers and sparks. A sunset that set the sky on fire."Lilac "Lila" Parker I would say was the character to have grown and changed the most. She was superficial in the beginning with her high heels and white suits (explains the cover)... Until Kash offers her the chance to be her rebound and flips her whole world upside down."God, he was massive, a brute made of muscle and sinew. He belonged to the earth he tilled, cut from stone, hair black as a raven, eyes blue as the sea. Beautiful in the rugged, wild way, unpolished and unrefined and unquestionably right just the way he was."This was very much an opposites attract romance. What started off as a "rebound" soon bloomed into more. Lila dreamt of a different life and in each vision she saw Kash. But with any good relationship there has to be a bit of drama and drama there was.Its hard not to fall in love with this family... These siblings. Gilded Lily was such a heartwarming story with lots of family dynamics involved. The perfect mix of sweet and sexy. Now, many may say Kash is their favorite but I feel like Marcus might take the cake. That PREVIEW! I need his book today!“Can I get that in writing?”

When Opposites Do More Than Attract
Staci Hart is one of my go-to authors when it comes to slow burn romances…to feel good love stories…to well-developed characters who change/transform the further into the plot Hart takes readers. I could absolutely stay in one of Staci Hart’s stories forever. The worlds that she creates and the way she crafts her stories allow me to revel in her words and get caught up in her heroes and heroines’ witty banter, stubborn personalities, and the desire that resonates from the pages of her books. In Gilded Lily, Lila Parker and Kash Bennet may seem like they have nothing in common, and for the most part, it’s a valid appraisal: she’s a bit high strung while he’s pretty laidback…she wants to make it big as a wedding planner, living it up in high society, while he’s perfectly content to work for the family business, remaining in his hometown, staying as far away from society girls as he can, simply because his lifestyle is nothing like theirs and it never will be. But as anyone can see from the interactions these two do have is that despite their differences, they bring out something in one another that no one else can.But what Lila and Kash begin to realizing, as they work closely together for a wedding and have a little no-strings fun when it comes to helping Lila get over her break up, is that as different as they appear to be, who they are at their foundation and the goals and dreams they have for themselves and those they love make them connected in a way neither could have imagined.Gilded Lily proves that opposites most certainly attract and thatfirst impressions, misconceptions, and opposing personalities can actually thrive together, in a way that lasts…in a way that’s about so much more than a rebound or a mistake.4 Poison Apples

If Kash doesn't steal your heart, I don't know what will! 4.5 Swoony stars
First and foremost, I have to say that I've enjoyed the Bennet brothers immensely! These books have been an utter delight. From Coming Up Roses to Gilded Lily, I've fallen in love with the talented and fierce, family-oriented brothers. While these are complete standalone books, it won't hurt to read them all...it's just not necessary. Pick your poison and enjoy! Now that that's off my chest....Gilded Lily is the epitome of an opposites attract done wonderfully. Kash is the easy going, go with the flow gardener that works at his family's flower shop, Longbourne in the heart of NY. He is a man that has fallen for the wrong girls simply because he thinks he isn't good enough. But he loves his family and will do anything for them. He is a man that you can count on to have your back and bring a sense of calm to your life. He just made me feel ooooey gooey inside. Then we have Lila. She is a woman that is career focused and has had the steps to her life all set in place from a young age. Get good grades, study at the right school, work for the best event planner, and marry a 'successful' man. Even if that means you have the worst boss, clients that use you for publicity and you work yourself to the bones. Because that is what Lila thinks will make her happy. Fake it til you make it. Put on a smile and be the "ice queen". I could sense her softness underneath it all, but it took someone willing to pull it out of her to get me to really feel her."Lila Parker was my exact opposite. Where I was unruffled, Lila shook her tail feathers like a peacock. Where I'd rather have a beer together than argue, she seemed to argue as her primary mode of communication. And yet, here I sat, wondering over her, curious as to the fire that had forged her and the person who'd lit it."These two had a chemistry that flew off the page. They didn't seem like they could work and their game of rebounding was doomed from the start. It had to. Especially with a man like Kash that is always focusing on making those around him happy. That may be his downfall eventually, but for now, he is perfection and the two of them spark into a fire."I wished I was the kind of man Lila wouldn't just f..... I wished I was the kind of man she'd keep."Besides their disdain, turned to friendship, turned to relationship storyline, we also got a story of family. The Bennets will have me coming back for more and more. The way they love and support one another will always have me pulling for them. Along with Lila's event planning drama, this story flowed well with so many good side stories going on. It all came together in a cohesive manner and in a believable way. I truly enjoyed this story and can't wait for more from Staci Hart in this world!PS....Don't forget to really pay attention to the chapter headings. Staci is notorious for having the best ones. A bit of funny and a bit of foreshadowing. 4.5 'Because, Reasons' stars! 😉

A must read rom com!
This is the second book in the fantastic rom com series which updates and reimagines the classic Pride and Prejudice.Queen of the rom com, Staci Hart is at her best here. Uptight wedding planner, Lila, and laid back gardener, Kash would not be an obvious match, but they had off the charts chemistry and were perfect for each other. I loved the connection between the two leads and just devoured their story. I can't wait for the next installment, these Bennett boys are addictive!!

A swoon worthy romance! ❤️
What a beautifully romantic and heartwarming story about the misconceptions people have of others and the journey of self growth and love! Staci Hart has yet again made a feel good story with an old school feel, think Jane Austen era, that catches your attention with a slow burn that leads to a combustible ending! I just loved Lila and Kash’s characters as individuals and as a couple. Their chemistry was smouldering but also so genuine and sweet and it made me feel so much joy for them through their journey!
