Cooperative Learning and Geometry: High School Activities, Grades 8-12

I ordered this book for my homeschooling teens. I was very excited to get it and put it to use. The activities are interesting, but I became frustrated when I tried to implement the first few lessons. The first chapter didn't include the answers to certain questions, and I wasn't able to make it work. If you are a math teacher, with many students, this book would work better. I recommend including all the answers in the end of each chapter, or making sure the answers are available for EVERY QUESTION. Even though the answers not included were very basic definitions, I didn't feel I should have to go elsewhere to look them up considering the price of the book.

I thought this would have more activities in it that would be useful in my classroom. It is all things that I've already found online or have created myself. I purchased the Algebra 1 and then Geometry; returned both.

Love the step by step geometry lessons. I have taught geometry several years and wish I had bought this book sooner! Great lessons! Shipping was fast too!

This has been helpful for activities relating to current geometry sections. Some thoughtful questions are asked of the students.

Mostly great activities to use on a second day of the material. Students enjoy the collaboration and you get the quick snapshot of what they've learned.

This book is full of ideas on how to organize and create cooperative learning lessons. I love having this as a resource for ideas!

Great ideas. This has been around since 2002 and wish I had it sooner.
