All four controllers pass through just fine. You can sometimes find one on eBay, though be careful because sellers sometimes mislabel the single controller variety. I bought this StarTech card intending to pass the 4 USB controllers through to different VMs (Ubuntu 17.04 host, Windows 7/10 and Linux Mint guests). They pass through fine but on Windows guests you get a code 10 error. On Linux guests you get another error. I was unable to resolve the issue.
