I decided to take a chance on the Necchi Q132A and I have been totally blown away at how easy it is to use and how well it stitched through 8 layers of upholstery fabric. first project of a weekend bag completed - now feel inspired to get on with more heavy duty makes!Update - sewing machine became faulty after few months with 'birds nesting and timing issues. I was disappointed and concerned that the seller had had poor feedback for communication - HOWEVER, I can report back that communication has always been quick and thorough. I returned my machine to his designated repairer who frustratingly, didn't resolve the issue. Charles kept lines of communication open and sent my machine (at his expense) to the UK Necchi dealer. Their engineer found the fault too - always a bonus - not down to me!. He made adjustments and wrote a succinct report back.
