Excellent product, formula just right to level cholesterol HDL/LDL

i have struggled with inflammation for years and unfortunately had to take krill oil supplements to help with this condition. being a vegetarian, i was very unhappy with the situation i was in but because flax seed is an inadequate source of omega3 for many people, including myself, krill oil was my best option...until i found these amazing supplements! because the true source of fish oil omega3 supplements is algae (the fish eat the algae, convert it, then people consume it) i thought this would be a good substitute for krill oil and so far i think i'm right. i've been taking these supplements for a few months now and have not noticed my inflammation getting any worse. i do take more than the recommended dosage; consult with your doctor to determine what dosage is right for you.my only gripe about this product is that it contains sorbitol which is a sugar alcohol that can disrupt the digestive system. i haven't noticed any negative side effects of this product so the sorbitol is probably minimal but i'd rather it didn't contain any at all. other than that this is a great option for vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores and i would highly recommend it!

Just started taking this DHA supplement and I’m really glad I found it. I was looking for a vegan, non-fishy alternative and this checks all the boxes. The softgels are easy to take, no weird taste or aftertaste, and I love that it’s carrageenan-free. Too soon to notice big changes, but I feel good about adding this to my routine.

I'm not sure about these yet. I gave them the score I did because they have given me the fishy burp that grosses me out.

I bought this product after extensive research and I am very happy with the purchasePros:- This is a 100% vegan supplement -- including both the "active" ingredients and the shell.- Easy to swallow, small, odor-less pills- Good priceCons:- I wish they had Omega 3 and Omega 6 balanced supplements because imbalance between the two is problematic- There is no data about how well vegan DHA works compared to fish DHA

I was loathe to try the fish oil gelcaps that most DHA supplements come in, because of the fishy taste or fishy burp that people describe, so I thought I'd try these. I noticed I was burping a little poof of lemon an hour or two after taking these but was just confused (wondering what I ate that had lemon in it)... I finally just reviewed the list of ingredients: they added lemon oil to these softgels. What a brilliant move by the manufacturer to eliminate any fishy smell/taste that might arise (...because sea plants like algae might still have that aquatic flavor/smell to it, as anyone who has eaten seaweed can tell you). A pleasant (and vegan, if that matters to you) way to get your DHA in. Highly recommended.
