Iberia Maduritos Naturally Sweet Plantain Chips, 20 Ounce (Pack of 1)

This is The Missus reviewing. I love plantains in entrees so at first I was disappointed - not sweet enough. However, I realized that I'm so used to sweet snacks that, duh, this was most likely the problem. I liked the crunch and discovered something delightful: the middle of each chip is slightly tart, giving a tiny burst of zing in each bite! And they weren't so hard that I thought I'd break my teeth. Yeah, I ate the whole 20 oz in, like, a week. Or less. Less. I'll be buying more after I finish a different snack I've ordered. Glad I found these. Affordable for me, too.

She loves these. Says they are just sweet enough and have a fantastic flavor. Would buy these again.

Okay I'm like obsessed with plantains currently for some reason, I love mofongo but also chips like this. I like these because they're a bit thicker than other brands, gives them a bit more heft and a heartier crunch in my opinion. I also like that it's in a hard, screw top container, helps keep bugs from getting in or accidental spills. Only small caveat is that, while I appreciate the sodium-conscious "light salt," I find myself wishing there was just a tad bit more, but I also can just add more salt on my own so it's really not a big deal.

This is really crunchy and sweet. It's well made and tastes really great. The only reason I'm not giving a complete 5 star is that the prices keep increasing multiple times

These are PERFECT for people who love crunchy snacks & are the perfect blend of sweet & salty. The only problem is STOPPING! They’re addictive!. My son loved these & wanted to try the other flavors, so we have a bundle coming!! He’s anxious to try the garlic ones. A bit pricey, but they’re QUALITY.

Taste phenomenal

I've bought 9 jars of these chips from October to December 2024. I'm hooked, I admit it and now no other plantain chip can compare. This is not an exaggeration, my last order contained 2 containers and my follow up 3 ,which I'm still waiting to arrive. They are crunchy, a little sweet and nutty tasting. They are such a delicious little snack and will have you addicted to their goodness. The container size and quantity is perfect for the price. The only cons I have is that there are some broken chips and one of the containers in my last order had a broken or damaged seal. I could not tell if it was tampered with or a factory defect, so I discarded it and Amazon did give me a refund. I was really disappointed though. Bottom line, one of the best plantain chips out there.

I live sweet plaintains, this would be like the 4th time buying this… one time it was half open and they tasted little weird because were exposed to the air but the others arrived good. Some of them or most of them are not too sweet as the real maduritos but still good.
