Affordable and useful!
Pen writes really smoothly and can support a variety of line widths depending on how you hold it and pressure used during writing. Great for bold lines especially. Lightweight but consequential; adds variety to your pen collection.

Perfect for sketching!
I purchased this pen for my pen and ink artwork, and it works so great. The flow and stroke variety are amazing, and it is a comfortable feel in the hand.

Just what I was looking for!
The only thing I didn't like was the packaging sent in - a bag. It was in the blister pack inside of a package bag mailed through USPS which is very risky. Luckily, it works great! I do line and wash (pen & watercolors). Everyone I admire on Insta and YouTube were have been using this pen and thought I'd try. I LOVE IT! It comes with two cartridges inside the body. I bought a converter for Sailor and some waterproof ink separately. It does different widths of lines as you angle your hand. It helps not having to go back over areas in my art to make thicker lines. I highly recommend this pen!

Pretty good pen
I wasn't aware that there are many more bent nib pens, so I'd say do more research before deciding. I got this pen for drawing and I do love the varying line widths. The ink flow isn't as even as I wish it were, but it's ok for my art. The biggest drawback is the cap screws off and does not sit snugly on the back of the pen like normal. You must set the cap aside somewhere since it doesn't function like a normal pen which makes it more prone to getting lost or rolling away. I probably wouldn't have gotten this one in hindsight because of that.

my favorite for ink sketches
Really enjoy using this pen for sketching - the variation of line makes for lively drawings with "happy accidents" of line quality that rival flexible dip pen nibs. It can go from fairly fine to heavier sharpie width marks for shading and filling. The black cartridges (2 included in the body of the pen - which is long because it is supposed to mimic a longer handled brush) are okay - not waterproof. After I decided I liked it I got the converter (14-0500) and am using it with some waterproof brown ink. No leaks or any problems so far. I would recommend it to any artist because it's inexpensive and loads of fun. I also got the navy blue 40 degree version - I like this 55 degree pen better. The other one tends to make finer lines, but it is also not as natural to control so when I want more width I have to fuss around to find the right angle. Just not as intuitive and smooth a drawing experience as the green pen.It goes through ink pretty fast, especially when laying down large areas of shading. The supplied 2 cartridges are enough to get a good feel for the pen, but afterwards you'll probably want to switch to a converter and bottled ink - and make sure you are topped off before you go on a sketching expedition. Good for writing, too - makes me feel fancy even if it's a relatively cheap fountain pen.

Excellent pen with a variety of stroke sizes
Love this pen and its ability to vary up your strokes. It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, you won't be able to put it down, and it'll be a staple in your art kit.

its wonderful for controlled small line variations, you need to get used to the angles with practice and it will be such an enjoyable experience to work with

Uses ONLY ink cartridges
It turns out that this pen only uses ink cartridges. This pen comes without an ink reservoir that can be refilled.
