This game could've easily been sold for double the price and I'd still considerate to be a discount. It's THAT GOOD and I'll tell you why. On the creator side, the developer tools are top-notch. If you can imagine it, you can digitally create it. Music, art, animation and of course GAMES...Of any genre. Now, don't get me wrong, it ain't easy, in fact, like almost every other creative endeavor one undertakes, its tedious ASF. The game helps you by giving you the tools needed but the rest is on you. The controls are also stress-inducing at the beginning (waay more challenging than learning to drive, LOl). It takes patience and perseverance but anyone can master it after a few imp quests. But wait, there's more! Everybody ain't creators, right? So if that mode isn't your thing you can purchase the game to get access to thousands of other user created content. And there's some amazing stuff out there. Finally, you have the feature, Art's Dream and it is FANTASTIC! Worth the price of the game alone. Beautiful story , great music, brilliant gameplay, multi-genre...It's a masterpiece and it was all done with the same resources that the title supplies. Its like these devs/geniusus/(aliens?) were demonstrating a Jedi Master technique to students of the craft. Oh, and did I mention the music? Man, don't miss this game. Actually it's way more than a game It's what Saturday night memories are made of. Its an experience. I don't write reviews. This is a chore for me. But yo, this product deserves it. I had to give it it's due props. Keep dreaming my peoples!

This is an absolute marvel of a game and creation tool. Everything feels pretty intuitive. I gotta give it to Media Molecule for creating something this unique and well put together. Overall navigation is easy and the main interface is clean. I'd say, give it a try, because you won't be disappointed. Even if don't like creating stuff, there are tons of other user creations you can try and/or explore (play, view); all unique and interesting in their own way. A never-ending expanding library of user creations (aka dreams). The community support is there and I can see it growing (and growing) in the immediate future. This is a gaming experience you don't want to miss. 5/5

Dreams is both a creator and a browser of sorts. It has a very impressive, user-friendly engine to make games, animated shorts, visual novels, art, etc if you want to embrace your inner creator. But it is worth it to get Dreams simply for the ability to browse/play the creations of others, as Dreams has an ever-expanding ecosystem of user-created projects to enjoy. As of this review, it has not yet added VR support but that should be coming soon, which opens up more possibility if you own a PSVR. But as it stands, it's very much a worthy purchase.

Ground breaking game! This game is far under rated. In fact, This is more than just a game! It is many games of all genres, films and animations, a game engine, a modeling/sculpting program, a painting app, and more! Its a shame it is not more appreciated. For just over 20 bucks you can play all the games you want and even learn a very, very, VERY simplified version of game development and design. Highly recommend!

I have been a gamer for many decades, and this is the very first time I had to just give up on a game because I could not make it through the tutorial. The controls are complex (hold this while pressing this and rotating that) and impossible to remember. What happens on the screen seemed only vaguely related to what I was doing with the controller. At no time during the hour or so I put into this did I have any sensation of actually controlling the game. "Simple" tasks like positioning a block in a designated place took me ten minutes or more of cursing and frustration. Every time you fail the whole section of the tutorial starts over again. There was no explanation about what any of this has to do with creating music or games or anything else. I had a friend visit, also a long-time gamer, and he could not make it work any better than I could! I was SO looking forward to creating all the wonderful things you can supposedly create with the game, but all I got was an hour or so of desperately trying (and failing) to make an "imp" move through tubes, touch objects and position blocks. I STRONGLY recommend finding a way to try out this game before you pay actual money for it like I did. Perhaps others find it easy to learn and use, which is great. My friend and I just found it to be a baffling, frustrating mess.

The idea of a game like Dreams, where you could create literally anything and everything, seemed perfect to me. But this game is KILLED by the motion controls. It's so hard to build anything. I loved the concept, but I couldn't get past the controls. I commend all the people who've made such wonderful things in this game, because I have no idea how you have that much patience! Put this on PC with full non-motion controller support and keyboard/mice support, and maybe it'll actually be the game of my Dreams.

This game is amazing. So many fun and weird games that people have made over the months that this has been out. Pretty much every genre. There's also a guy who is making a full length Avatar The Last Airbender game in Dreams. It's insane how Dreams made it so easy to be a game developer. Great game, highly recommend.
