Almost gave up until this worked!
Worked perfectly! I had a 25+ year old exhaust bung plug rust seized under my car that was very difficult to reach in general. I ended up rounding it off and oil penetrants alone wouldn't free it. I tried 3 in One, Liquid Wrench, and finally Kroil. I was only able to get it off with this extractor socket. I didn't have space to softly hammer it onto the bolt, but I was able to pull it toward me enough to lock on and then break it free with an 18" flexible ratchet. Highly recommended. The plug was held in place very firmly in the extractor socket after I unscrewed it and I had to use locking pliers to get it out of the extractor and the socket teeth still look good for future use.

Must have for mechanical work. Add it to your socket set. When you need it you will have it.
If you are doing automotive work or working on nuts and bolts that are rusty, bolted on too tight, or prone to stripping, then this is a must have for your toolbox. When you actually NEED one of these sockets, it is a life saver to get the job done. One stripped bolt could delay a project for hours. Before you strip a bolt too much, put one of these on and tap it lightly with hammer to get it on the bolt/nut good, and then wrench it off with a 3/8 socket wrench. I used a couple sockets to get rusty nuts off an exhaust manifold with success. It saved me hours of having to drill or cut bolts in very hard to reach places.

Would Recommend
This extractor set did its job. I had a 12mm bolt that wouldn't unfasten through more conventional means + penetrating oil, but this set accomplished just that in no time flat.

It looks really cool, but I still cannot open my oil tank cap with it, so, just for you guys' info, this is not the utilmate solution, you need a way larger or longer piler to deal with stuck screws

Everyone needs to have this set
I don’t do reviews very often, and I return a lot of things to Amazon. But this tool saved my butt, even after one use. Removed the stripped bolt from my transmission pan instantly- as soon I put it on the bolt- there was no fighting it. It did the job faster than expected.I could have saved lots of time and money if I had this tool over the years.Just do it.
