Bought 2 for my sons (who cook) for Christmas. Minces garlic really well but also ginger. Keeps someone from getting a huge chunk in their food. Works great. Great value!

I have seen these plates so many times and the garlic peeler. I’ve always kinda thought .. I’m not wasting my money on that.. my garlic press is fine and I’m sure the thing doesn’t work to peel garlic… I was so so very wrong! Idk what kind of magic is in the little garlic peeler but I wish I bought it forever ago! No more using granulated garlic because I don’t want to peel fresh garlic! And the dish is pretty neat too! It gets is so fine. I took away a star because the little brush is absolutely atrocious… it is going to the trash. The bristles came out right away.

The quality was so much more than I expected! When I ordered this, there wasn’t much reviews and I was really hesitant! But you can tell the plate is heavy and great quality! It worked great when I grated my garlic and I’m buying more as gifts because they look so cute and easy to use in the kitchen! It’s easy to clean too unlike other garlic crushers or mincers that get garlic stuck in it!

UPDATE: GET RID OF THE BRUSH! It falls apart and leaves little hairs in your food. About a week after receiving, I used it again, and the little hairs that fell out were unbelievable! I had to discard the food. I threw the brush away. My husband also reports that he ate some curry made with ginger grated and brushed off the grater before I discovered the brush problem, and after a choking fit where he felt like something was poking him down inside his throar, he finally coughed up a brush hair! ORIGINAL: I do a lot of Asian type cooking, and have always used a microplane; mine is older and not quite as sharp as it used to be. I saw people in videos using this type of grater, and decided to give it a try. It was shipped quickly and was well packaged. The little garlic paper remover tube also works well--I have always just smashed my garlic with the side of a knife, but the tube is very easy to use. The grate is very sharp! Unless the tips break off, which I have not seen in any reviews, it should stay very sharp!

This BonCera yellow garlic grater works great. I like it better than using a microplane because I'm always afraid I'll grate my fingers. The brush that comes with the set works well, gets all of the garlic out of the groves. I tried zesting an orange on it just for the heck of it and it works better than a microplane too because it is so easy to get the zest out (I wet the brush before using to remove what has been grated because I think it works better this way). Plate is easy to clean too and when not in use it adds decor to the kitchen when set on the plate holder. Buying another to give as a gift!
