Product looked good but disk drawer would not open. Unit powered up and sounds like mechanical issue with motor or gears. You would have thought is was tested before shipping. Sent it back and I give them another chance but, then I'm done. I'm not sure I'll trust the next one but I'll try an optimistic approach.

I like the PlayStation it works

I wasn't expecting the console to be in such good condition and impressed with what I received, it's obvious the console is used but in supreme shape. I like the retro look of the PS2 and recommend buying one. Good luck and happy shopping!

Beautifully refurbished. Looked brand new. Plays perfectly

I was very disappointed when I received this item. It did come with everything listed but it’s supposed to be “refurbished.” It was so dirty. The disc tray won’t open like it’s getting caught on something. After trying the eject button maybe 3 or 4 times the lights went out. Even when plugged in. It was basically DOA.

Although the PlayStation 2 console operates smoothly and offers an enjoyable gaming experience, my husband was especially thrilled to receive it as a birthday gift, eagerly unwrapping it. Unfortunately, after less than 10 hours of playtime, both controllers began drifting unexpectedly, which was quite disappointing and hampered overall gaming enjoyment. I am having to purchase a new controller so he can use and enjoy his gift.

2nd Update: Had hiccups with the system. After the headache of talking with Amazon's Customer service and the lies being told UNDERSTAND you will not be able to get a refund if you shop with this company. To me after the experience that I've had Amazon knows that dealing with this company it'll be hit or miss. There's no such thing as Amazon quality check. Update: The seller corrected the issue and sent another PS2 to me. And this one works and I have to give them credit for that. All I can say is they need to have better communication with their customers so that the issue that I had with them doesn't persist in the future. The reason for the 3 star rating is because Amazon has to contact them on my behalf to get the problem resolved. If I didn't have that done I wasn't getting any feedback from them. Original review: I purchased a PlayStation 2 from the seller and it didn't work. You can't play games on the console. They responded immediately at first but when I asked for a replacement I didn't hear back from them. The worst thing about it is I assumed that it would at least come in working condition because of Amazon put their guarantee behind the product. Now I'm out of $200! Needless to say DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS SELLER! I don't think I can trust Amazon anymore either.
