The main positives for me of these back-strap clasp-adjustable Siggi army-style caps, are the style and fitting. The larger size will fit head sizes up to 64 cm diameter; sizes which are not catered for by most one-size caps.The colour most suited to the style of cap is probably the green although this does, unsurprisingly, give the cap a more military style appearance. A shame, I think, that there is no dark blue/navy version available.Female friends of mine who have tried the caps on suit them, and they do have room to accommodate a fuller head of hair.Although not waterproofed the caps will keep your head dry in a brief shower. The mesh buttons are just sown onto the outside of the cap so are purely cosmetic and do not provide any breathability or air circulation in hot weather. The sizeable peak does however provide protection from the sun.So there are practical limitations to the caps if you are not wearing them solely as a fashion item; but they do seem to be soundly stitched and put together.

I didn't want a baseball cap and I don't 'heart' NY because I've never been there. I wanted a plain hat and this fits the bill as well as my head. It's well made and very good value. The cheaper ones out there are slightly shallower in terms of skull cap depth. There's nothing wrong with that, I just wanted one like this and I'm very pleased with it.

This hat is great and I love it on my husband who is 47! My teensons were eyeing it up even!My husband has a wide head so I selected the larger head fitting and it still had room because it was adjustable at the back. Itis well made and he likes to roll it up which is good because then he actually remembers to take it.Maybe they will do a lined one sometime ...but this works for summer and winter.

I look like 'Action Man' in this, so very pleased! Won't be buying a rifle to go with it, though.

I bought 3 of these hats, in different colours. They fit well, and are well seamed. I have limited mobility. I wash the hats in a Miele washer with a handwash setting, in a zipped delicates bag. This one failed suddenly at 9 months. I complained to Amazon, who issued a refund, but wanted its return. I have purchased an identical replacement, to see how that fares. Good design, but uncertain durability.

I need a summer hat for sun protection due to a skin problem.Because of having a large head I have never really found anything satisfactory until this Siggi hat.

In several places in the description it says 100% cotton. This is what I wanted in a hat. But in fact it’s only a cotton shell over a 100% POLYESTER lining. So essentially it’s a POLYESTER HAT. Not what I wanted! Who wants to cover their head with sweaty unbreathable POLYESTER??? Aargh. Too much trouble to return so I just cut out the lining.
