Exactly as described
Package was exactly as described. I make hummus out of it, and it worked perfectly. Urad Dal is very high in the Omega 3 / Omega 6 ratio and so much more healthy than chickpeas.

Does the job
It's difficult to find mung daal and especially organic mung daal. This works for my daily kitchari as I go through about 1 pound every 2-3 weeks. Highly recommend sautéing first the simmer atleast 50 minutes w rice, spices, veggies, ur combo of choice.
