Snake Eye Tactical Rubber Training Gun, Orange

Solid heavy trainer sat a fraction of cost. These are very close to the real weight and about the size of a full size handgun SigP229 so these are not small. However the material these are made would allow one to custom a size. I bought two and am happy I can do just that. These are not going to break and have the rubber consistency of car tires so well made solid material and at the price of up to 100.00 less then brand name that are no different. No these are not an exact match for your 1991, Glock etc. But if you want a trainer to use on holsters or hand to hand these are pretty amazing. Martial artist will see instant feed back as these will hurt if you hit them wrong but wont break. I was skeptical at the price, but these are amazing and arrived days before expected. Wish I needed more I would buy more.

This gun is perfect for the novice shooter to pick up, and get the technique of holding a pistol correctly, without the possible dangers of picking up a live weapon. When I teach gun safety courses, this is my go to piece, as I own multiple, to make sure students get technique, safety, and best practices down. This gun allowes me to eliminate guns and ammo from the classroom entirely. As you can see in the picture there is a "joint" a few inches from the muzzle, that piece is a rubber mold that over the tip, I dont know why but it can come off. I imagine this was done to save money in manufacturing, but does not effect the use of it. The trigger guard is not a hard plastic it is rubber just like the rest of the gun so it gives easily. Also the corr of the gun is a hard plastic base with a rubber mold formed around it. So it does have a little more weight to it than a solid hard plastic gun.

These are excellent training guns for teaching disarms and retention. They have a solid core with a rubber overmold, which means that they don't bend like a standard rubber gun, which can cause unrealistic responses when training hand to hand techniques. I always cut away the trigger guard to prevent broken fingers. This can be easily done with scissors or a pocket knife. They have held up very well to rough handling so far. Excellent product. Not having a rear sight notch cost them 1 star from the review, but you can fix that with a knife if you are handy.

Good feel, good look - was using it for a simulation session (and was possibly too realistic, even though it was orange) but would get again if needed for a similar situation

Perfect for training! We use this for our concealed handgun class, and it really helps those who have never held a firearm before. We make sure to demonstrate proper firearm safety, using this rubber gun and instructing them not to put their finger on the trigger until they are ready to shoot. It also allows us to see how they will handle a firearm before actually picking one up. The weight of this is pretty good, not too heavy and not loo light. Plus I really like the orange color. If you’re teaching people how to disarm a gun this is a OK plastic gum there are better ones but this will do the job

Works as it should. Good material. ONE RECOMMENDATION!! The trigger guard should be cut off! Completely! You don't need broken fingers training to disarm. Not worth it and it's a real possibility if you put your finger on that "trigger" Please do it! Great product apart from that. But easy fix

Product was described as to be Orange and I received 2 and both were Yellow. Very annoying when item arrives different than described color. As for the quality: the square barrel tip slips off, a little small closer to that of a 9mm.
