Easy 12 volt supply kit
We tow our truck behind our motorhome and needed a 12 volt supply for the supplemental break system. It needs to always be live, and none of the trucks 12 volt outlets would stay on for more than an hour, so we bought this.We searched through stores trying to put a kit together with a part form one place and a part from another place, when I though to go to the manufacturer of the supplemental break system. The kit from Hopkins was complete and had easy to follow instructions. Plus they were not stingy with the wire. The supply line is several feet longer than I needed to reach form the front edge of the truck, where the battery is, to the location by the driver's seat, where I mounted the outlet.

I installed this on a 2018 F150. I tow this truck behind a motor home and needed a constantly-on 12 V socket to plug my supplementary towing brake system into. This was quick and easy to install plus it came with all the parts and pieces needed. Very pleased. Recommended highly.

Worth the purchase
Good heavy duty wire. Receptacle is a little on the cheaper side but not real bad. Easy to install. I've ordered this same kit for 4 different vehicles over the last 12 years.

Good Product
It is important if you use a BrakeBuddy system to use a 12 volt plug hanged directly on the battery. It does the job.

Otherwise fairly easy to install
Not exactly what I ordered. Did not have an inline glass fuse. It used a blade fuse instead. Otherwise fairly easy to install.
