**Q: What does this product do?**
A: More specifically, but not limited to,removal of AMP CPC family size 16 male and female contacts from their housings. *replace the (DOT)'s w/ periods. There are two. I'm unsure of linking permissions here..

**Q: The tip of my aux plug broke and is stuck in the aux port. Will this tool extract it?**
A: This tool is for pin extraction when the pin is inside a housing meant for said pin's extraction. No, it won't work for removal of unrelated broken pins.

**Q: Is this a real amp product or some cheap knock off? (sold by jameco electronics}**

I bought this to replace a different style I had that went missing. I had hoped that being an actual AMP product that it would work better than the off-brand. It works about the same. You still have to jiggle it around a bit, and you will usually bend one of the tabs a bit, but it works as good as the other styles.
