Wedding Gown Zipper Replacement Adjust Size Corset Lace Up White Satin 14" Long

If I could give 3.5, I would. First off, if arrived very promptly, which I appreciated, however it was the wrong size. I ordered the 14" and what arrived was more like a 16". We easily fixed this by just trimming the end to fit. Installation was a little tricky since we could not pin the boning to the gown, and the boning was curved due to shipping method, but other wise it was fairly easy. However, I bought this to add about an inch to my dress, and with the way it was recommended to put the loops in, it actually takes away from the dress about two inches, so I still am left with needing a larger modesty panel. Luckily this is just picking up some new satin, but with the price I paid I would have assumed this would have been taken into account.

This absolutely saved my life. My dress was a size to small and would've costed me 250 to have the zipper taken out and a corset back put in at the tailor. I was determined to find a way to do it my self, googled diy ways to put a corset back on a wedding dress and found these kits. I have not sewn a day in my life so it was scarey taking the zipper out and trying to sew it on myself but I got it done. It was difficult to get the hang of it when doing the first side and it took me quite awhile because I don't have a sewing machine but once I figured it out the second side was a piece of cake. My dress fits perfect now and it saved me so much money. I would definitely recommend getting this!....and this is a review not based on getting something for free when doing a review. This was amazing!!! I cant believe everyone doesnt sew one of these into thier dress! My friend did it for me as it was pretty basic to do and it allowed for a perfect tightness to the size I was the day of the wedding. I bought my own lace to lace up the back from joanne fabric..it had tiny pearls on it and w a 50% off online coupon it was an additional $4! What an inexpensive way to ad a LOT to my dress!!! They wanted $100 PLUS to take it in a little a the seemstress and it still wouldnt have been just right for my exact size the day of the wedding (my waist is alwys slightly different depending on the day and me dress was strapless so a nice tight fit was esential in holding it up! LOVE THIS LOOK AND FIT!!!!

Great replacement for a zipper on a wedding gown; wish it came in more than just white or ivory though. I have had to put a corset lace up in a bridesmaids dress and wound up having to make the ties and modesty panel. Also the fabric for the ties could be a better quality; what comes in the kit seems to be a little too stretchy.

This set was useful except for the privacy panel that was included. I had to make a larger one for the back, and ended up using the one from the kit in the front to make more coverage.

Product was good and what we needed but had to order 5 different colors in order to match to the dress to one of them. But now I'm waiting to get a credit back for 4 of them we didn't use. Not very happy about that. Return credit very slow and I have made phone call to get my credit back with no answer.

I purchased the corset-lace-up kit because the gown I purchased online was too small. It was easy to put it and made the gown look so much more elegant. I thought I could purchase the materials on my own at a fabric store, and it is possible. But it took so long to make my own. I highly recommend puchasing the ready made corset kit.

Worked like a dream to replace the zipper on a prom dress. I got a larger size than I really needed and cut it down to fit. Super easy to use and professional quality.
