The Griffin's Riddle (The Imaginary Veterinary, 5)

We are Suzanne Selfors fans and have eagerly read all the books in The Imaginary Veterinary Book Series. The Griffin's Riddle was a marvelous book about the adventures of Pearl and Ben, two average kids who met up one summer in Buttonville, but have nothing but unusual adventures.In "The Griffin's Riddle", the author takes you on an exciting journey to help save those they love (Dr. Woo and Metalmouth) - and those they tolerate (Violet and Mrs. Mulberry), from a sickness that can only be cured by a trip into the Imaginary World.The books in this series are engaging, vivid journey's which captivate children and adults alike. This was yet another winner! We wait with great anticipation for Book 6 to be published - "The Fairy Swarm."

My wife is a librarian and we have been reading these to my 8 year old every night. Cute little book with a few pictures. Great story with funny characters and some adventure that isnt too scary. Great for story time or readers 10 ish years old. Whole series is great.

My grandson loves all the Imaginary Veterinarian Series, and is now sharing them with his entire second grade class at St. Joseph's. Now that we are starting to move more toward learning about the characters' emotions it is a good thing, but I know Gabe will be crushed if the kids have to part at the end of summer and Ben goes back to L.A. He needs to stay with his grandfather. For adventure, I think we loved the Rain Dragon the Best.

My 8-yr. old grandson loves this series and begs me to read them to him when he arrives. This one is just as good as the others and my grandson begs me to keep reading when we get to the end of several chapters. We aren't quite finished, but should wrap this book up when I babysit on Wednesday after school. I highly recommend not just this book, but the whole series.

My son LOVES this series! Very good for a mythical theme.

Bought this series as a gift for my grandson and it is an easy read with a good story line and engaging characters.

In two days was read and enjoyed by third grade boy who typically must be pushed to read. This series launched him into reading for pleasure. The series we had been waiting for as parents.

Wonderful series written to engage and entertain both kids and any adult reading to a child.
