Command strips could never.Wow, this stuff is like magic. When nothing else short of gluing works, this comes through.It IS difficult to remove depending on what the mounting surface is. I will say that applying heat helps (hair dryer). I had something stuck onto an IKEA shelf with this tape and while it was an insane struggle to get that item off, I eventually figured out to hair dry it and that made it softer and more pliable and I was able to scrape it off. I was very surprised when I saw that it did not damage the finish and left 0 residue - that's first.That all said - it's VERY sticky and I don't think that washing/reusing it is really an option in most cases, once you get it off something it tends to stick to itself (as most tapes do) and I toss it.It's also quiiiite expensive, it doesn't seem any brand on Amazon is much cheaper than the rest and you don't get that much in a roll. But I use it with full confidence to mount just about anything.

The tape is NOT reusable or washable or removable - Once you put it on a wall, make sure your item is hung exactly where you want; because it WILL NOT come off to be re-positioned.

I bought this to put on stair tread runners that continually moved or fell off when you walked up or down the stairs. Overall this product did a good job of keeping them in place when "installed" the tape on the back of the runners. My only issue ends up being cleaning the stairs. If you remove the runner the tape sticks to the stair tread and not the runner. ( stair is a much smoother surface therefore better adhesion...logical) So i end up having to remove the tape from the stair and start over...Not really a problem of the tape just the situation i am using it for.

I have been using 3M Scotch Restickable tabs for many years and they are great. But, the tabs are small and I have a project that would need quite a few pkgs. I purchased the Nano tape, thinking it would save time and money. When I tried to cut the first piece, it stuck to the rest of the roll and stretched. I wasted at least 4 inches just trying to get a starter piece. The backing was very difficult to remove and the tape stuck to my fingers instead of the surface I was working with and just kept stretching. It's like working with a long piece of gum and in one area, I had to settle for a wad of goo, fingers crossed it holds. The roll is very tacky on the edges and sticks to whatever surface it's laid on. I don't know where I'm going to store this tape that it won't get soft and stick to everything. What I thought would be an easy task turned into a bad comedy sketch. I can't imagine removing the tape, washing it and reusing. That is what I do with the 3M tabs....no problem! I finished the project, but I am not sure it will hold because it has been handled so much. I am not happy with this product and would not recommended. I will go back to the 3M Scotch tabs!Sept 12th update: It did not secure the entire cover in place, I am using small pieces of 3M Scotch to tape areas that fail. I used a small piece to stick a cover cap to a board to spay paint it, the tape stuck to my fingernail and pulled off the polish...I will never use this product on a painted surface! It did hold the cap in place while painting.

It's been holding down the roof spoiler in my car for a good time now. Sticks so well I couldnt yank off my spoiler

Art projects…applying my Eyelashes over my cars headlights and still able to go through a car wash and my lashes withstand the brushes and hard jets of water and the hard blowing of air. Lashes stay in place!!!I used Nano tape to cover my air seeping windows this fall and the plastic stayed tight and is still tight and we’re going into Spring!I love Nano tape!!!!

Hung heavy pictures in a camper. Have not moved from traveling or extreme heat or cold.

I put this big heavy solid coffee bar sign up on the wall using this tape. This was originally made for countertop. It is 14 1/2" in diameter, 1" thick and weighs 2 lbs. 14oz. I am amazed at how it is holding up with just 3 peices of tape. When I went to test it by giving it a little tug, it did not budge at all. As a matter of fact, I pulled it with all my might after that and it still did not budge (might work just a bit too good)
