Lennox Genuine X8310 Expandable replacement Filter 20x25x5 (2 Pack)

Good filter but exceptionally difficult to install in our experience.We have had a Lennox furnace / central AC unit installed for about 4 years. It uses this expandable filter. Once installed the filter does work well. The filter itself expands and is held in place in a plastic housing that slides in and out of the furnace / AC by a cardboard liner at each end. We change the filter every 6 months.The problem that I experienced ( maybe I am doing something wrong?) is trying to guide the cardboard liner / edges of the filter into the plastic housing. Each side of the plastic housing has plastic guides that keep the liner in place and the filter expanded to appropriate size. Trying to move the cardboard through the plastic guide on the plastic housing is exceptionally difficult. It is a struggle every time. Am I the only one who has this issue?

Genuine Lennox filter, was what was advertised, would recommend

Works great. I change our A/C filter every 6 months. Easy to remove and insert.

The advertised MERV rating is 10. The MERV rating on the filters I received is MERV 11. MERV 10 is NOT the same as MERV 11. I chose to install the filter anyway.

It fits perfectly in my AC/Heating system and saves a lot of money from buying it locally or having a service rep change it.
