Amber is my favorite scent.

Ive been wearing this Amber Paste for 20+ years.It is my favorite.Ive always gotten compliments on how heavenly I smell too.It is warm, comforting & a very delicious sexy smell.Each batch (bottle) has always been a slightly different, always.Ive had this on subscribe & save, 1 bottle every 3 months for years.It smells a little different on everyone too according to your chemistry, but always divine.It may not be for everyone, nothing is, but its definitely for me!

I used to buy amber paste at the Berkeley Flea Market when I lived in the Bay Area. I moved out of the area and there was nowhere local I could buy it.I decided to give this a try and it is the same warm, alluring scent I remember!I will definitely be buying this again!!

The paste is SO sticky and so hard to rub into the skin. Also do not by if you aren’t an AVID amber scent lover. It is super strong and not the most pleasant of perfumes. Kind of smells more like a house cleaner but like a really earthy one. Also it’s super small

I know scents are subjective but I was on a hunt for an amber scent after loving Nemat amber oil (in having the same experience where the scent fades to quickly or doesn’t project.) I gave this a shot, at a low-risk 9 dollars. It’s ….. VERY different from Nemat. I am a fragrance rookie but to me I echo the “granny cutting down a pine tree” sentiment. It’s HEAVY. The liquid itself is thick and I put on a drop the size of the head of a pin. I’ve washed my wrists multiple times and I can still smell it. That said, it’s not *horrible*. But it’s definitely smoky, pine-y, woodsy. Smells reminiscent of a heavy incense. Which, in and of itself is something. But then add on top of that a cloying sweetness - think marshmellow or butterscotch or along those lines. Borders on too sweet. If any of those profiles are something you’d like, it’s worth a try for 9 bucks.

I love this scent. A little bit will last you forever. I'll put it on in the morning and I'll find myself still getting compliments on it at the end of an 8 hour shift. It reminds me of one of my favorite everyday perfumes, Good Chemistry's Tiger Lily, which leans heavily towards amber/vanilla. The piney/smoky/woodsy undertone of this oil is wonderful and sets it apart from other amber scents I've tried. To me it's reminiscent of the scent a campfire leaves on your clothes. Well worth a shot.

If you’re a fan of amber fragrances this will give you that, nice and subtlety sweet.

Been looking for a quality amber scent with projection and longevity? This is it. Classic amber fragrance but heavier on the 'vanilla/tonka bean' top notes than many and less woody than I prefer. Still in all an excellent scent and well worth 3x what the seller charges.

I’ve been looking for this for over 20 years; I wore it daily and could never find it once I ran out. It smells warm and spicy and sweet. Will order again

I read a review that said it smelt like baby powder and I love the nemat amber oil because it smells like powder. And ya this is not the same amber scent. If you are looking for the same sent as nemat, this isn't it. This has vanilla, smokey amber, patchouli notes. Definitely a warm sweet scent. And it's def long lasting. I cant seem to wash it off.

Not at all like the thicker, more granular paste with the warmly enchanting fragrance I had picked up at a Whole Foods in USA in late 2018. I had read that the scent had changed in the larger Amber Paste bottle - which is quite nice, a honeyed pine and spice, i have that too - but had hoped for my old paste in the smaller bottle. This new version of Amber Paste is not a bad scent, it's just not what I was hoping for. My preference is the Kuumba Made Sandalwood & Amber (which I will reorder as soon as my meagre budget allows).
