b/w version very legible
some reviews state that black and white version's pictures are to dark and hard to read.I disagree, even though my eyesight isn't great, pictures have enough contrast and easy to read.this is so much cheaper than colour version, SO BUY IT! 🙂

Print copy of Help files
This is a print copy of help files. It is handy to have in book format, but because it is identical to the Help files, it can be cross-referenced with these files, particularly to see the pictures in colour or follow links. Buy the B&W version and save yourself £25,

Disappointed with the B and W version
I am an avid Studio One user and went for the black and white version of the book due to finances. I should have gone for the colour version as the images are rather dark, and in some places, important onscreen information is indistinct. My main gripe with the book is that it contains words that are underlined as cross-references. It seems to me that the book generation was for the online world and the 'url-like' links in the hard copy will never work. I tried pressing the words but I wasn't magically jumped to the correct section!!!!!!!!!!!

Main issue is the gray print and faded images
I understand the reasoning for offering a black and white version for far less money than the color version. But the grey type can be hard to read in moderate level lighting, and begin to look fuzzy after reading a short while. But it is an excellent reference manual. If I had known, I would have gone for the color version at the extra cost.

Lots of great information, if you can read it.
The type this book was written in makes it exceptionally hard to read. The information is to tge point once you can read it. Next time, I will definitely order the color version, not the black(grey) version.
