Incredible Clarity and Performance – The Vortex Optics Strikefire II Red Dot Sight is a Must-Have!
I recently purchased the Vortex Optics Strikefire II Red Dot Sight, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. Whether you’re an experienced shooter or a beginner, this red dot sight offers everything you need in a reliable and affordable package. The Strikefire II offers outstanding clarity, with a wide, crisp field of view. The red dot is sharp and easy to acquire, even in bright daylight. The adjustable brightness settings are perfect for different lighting conditions, from low light to bright sun. I’ve used it in both bright daylight and low-light environments, and the sight has performed flawlessly in all conditions. The ability to quickly adjust the dot's brightness is a huge plus.

TREMENDOUS VALUE & the BEST WARRANTY IN THE BIZ!
GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY!! But then again, it’s a Vortex! This is a 4moa red/green dot optic that can easily be changed for brightness and color! I’m older, my kids mention that way too often now, and given my astigmatism, I prefer the green dot setting but many prefer the red so it’s great to have the option! Sometimes I switch back and forth just to see if I’m actually getting younger? Benjamin Button’s got nothing on me! 😂Best part is u can adjust the colored dot brightness way down for long range, 100yard+ shooting, the dot is more like a 2moa dot or less, in this setting! Cranker up for close range and you’ve got the best of all worlds! Also night-vision compatible for you “snoopers.”Very accurate optic with 1” groups at 100 yards zero even with my feeble eyes and shelf ammo! Paired this with the UTG Super Slim Flip up front and rear sights, and the Vortex Strikefire II with the cantelever mount can be adjusted on the rail for a lower 1/3 co-witness view with the UTG sights! Obviously your results may differ pending your line of sight on your favorite Gal! Running on a 5.56/.223 Pistol with a 7.5” barrel! She’s tight!!Super easy to install and super easy to sight in, use the smallest dot size setting when sighting in, and remember to shoot with both eyes open! Once you get used to this “both eyes open” style, Target acquisition is super fast and easy even for us old guys! Just remember, OLD GUYS RULE! 😜Excellent combo and you might want to try the 36/300 yard zero with the 25yard adjusted zero targets for the 5.5" center mass strike zone out to 300 yards. Very impressive and might just become your favorite zeroed yardage? Most shooting ranges accommodate the 25, 50, 75, and 100 yard pins so the 25 yard adjusted zero targets gives you the 25 yard point of aim zero and a 36 yard point of impact zero so you can easily adjust for a 36yard point of impact zero when shooting at the 25 yard pin distance. Not many ranges offer a 36 yard pin so I hope that makes sense for you? Check out Vigilance Elite and ARMA Dynamics for printable targets with caliber details for your shooting range. Watch Shawn Ryan's 36yard zero video and you'll get the picture real quick. Thank you for your service Mr. Ryan!As is so typical of Vortex, this is one great value for the money! Way more features than optics at twice the price, and that extra savings allows for some nice additional mods and extra ammo!!Best of all, there’s the Vortex VIP (VERY IMPORTANT PROMISE) warranty which means that your product purchase is a 100% unlimited lifetime warranty-fully transferable, and no receipt needed.in Vortex’s own words, “VIP stands for a Very Important Promise to you, our customer. We will repair or replace your Vortex product in the event it becomes damaged or defective-at no charge to you. If we cannot repair your product, we will replace it with a product in perfect working order of equal or better physical condition. You see, it doesn’t matter how it happened, whose fault it was or where you purchased it. If you ever have a problem, no matter the cause, we promise to take care of you.”Who does that these days?VORTEX DOES!The only issue is that I didn't get a camo Vortex hat with my purchase as that deal wasn't offered when I purchased the Strikefire II optic. Who doesn't need another camo hat? WAAAAAHH! ;->God Bless Vortex! Great Products, Great People, Great Warranty, and Great Service! A truly great Company!Drink up me Hearties! YoHo!

An Excellent Value
Looks great, easy installation, and excellent build quality. Scope required no adjustment for an initial use on a 25 yard target. Easy to use brightness controls double as the on/off. That's my only complaint, and it's minor...I wish there was a rotary on/off instead of pressing a button for several seconds.

Awesome red dot
Bought this for my AR chambered in .50 Beowulf and it was almost right on target out of the box! Ammo is very expensive so that was a huge plus and after some very slight adjustments it’s now a tack driver. Love the quality of this sight for the money!

Very Acceptable For The Price
The overall appearance of the sight is very good. It attaches firmly to the rail and is a solid mount. The red dot is adjustable to different lighting conditions as you would expect however as some have stated in other reviews when looking through the sight directly at the red dot it appears to be not round but oblong or as if it's comprised of smaller dots. While this is somewhat disappointing it's not noticeable when focusing downrange at a target as intended and does look to be 2 MOA in size which is more important to me. Thus the reason for my 4 point rating. My experience: I loaded the batteries and mounted the sight to an AR-15 and looking through my existing rifle sights it co-witnessed perfectly and the red dot was sitting pretty close to the top of the front post . I fired on a steel plate at a hundred yards and was pleasantly surprised to see the impact only a few inches high and to the right. After a couple of adjustments it was sighted in and holding a really nice group. Resting the weapon on a sand bag I was able to test repeatability by moving the point of aim and then returning it by the same amount of clicks. The result were very good and I'm very happy with this sight. The sight isn't for precise target shooting it's for putting fast hits on the target. It's a game changer and you'll be amazed at how quickly you can acquire and hit your target! I especially like the price that's about $400 less than my last Aim Point. Now let's see how well it holds up.

Great optic!
This optic is great for the value. I have many other higher end more expensive sights and this one seems to be my go to. It has quick target acquisition and great clarity. I have not had to replace the battery yet so the power draw is very minimal. It functions as should, was an easy fit to the rail. Will definitely recommend.
