Great battery - and a suggestion for Dan Force
I work as an electrician, and for the past 5 months of having this I generally work in dark areas at the site I am at (besides some temp lighting here and there). My old coworker had this headlamp and he told me it had great battery life - I think he told me he charges it about once a week. I actually charge this every week and a half every 2 weeks. So many light settings. I really love this thing. Its also pretty durable, I often have to be the one to crawl around in tight spaces and it has survived my hard hat falling off my head off the scissor lift a couole times. My only complaint is you have to buy separate hooks to hold onto your hard hat, and that the grid guys seismic wire always seems to find my headlamp. I wish Dan Force would make a headlamp that was a little bit flatter so when I would have to crawl into tight spaces I can use that instead.

Sturdy and well built
I have two of these head lamps that I purchased in November of 2023 and let me tell you these have held up like nothing I have ever seen before. I have tried about four different brands which required replacement batteries which after recharging so many times they would no longer hold a charge and the batteries cost almost as much as the head lamp itself, so I decided to try the Dan Force headlamp and I’m so glad I did. I use these every night at my horse pasture and they still hold a charge for up to around 5 to 6 hours. And as for durability they are tuff. I often forget how far they extend from head and will lean into a wall and hit it, which I wouldn’t recommend because it really hurts and thought for sure that I had loosened the adjustment but surprisingly it didn’t. My barn has a double door on it and a lot of times I will only open the bottom door and duck under the top one. One night I forgot the top door wasn’t open and in a hurry walked full strut into the the top door hitting my head lamp so hard it cut the bridge of my nose when it folded down from the force. I thought for sure this time I had broken it, but that was over six months ago and it still works great. Mine do take quite a long time to charge fully though at least five to six hours but I run the batteries all the way down so I just charge them overnight and since I have two I almost always have a charge one ready to go. As far as brightness goes, they are outstanding. They don’t even begin to loose brightness until the batteries are down to the last little blue lite on the battery pack which I stated earlier is at least five hours. So “yes” I would highly recommend these headlamps they are a great value , extremely durable and I almost forgot to mention very comfortable. I have mine on for hour’s almost every night. Great product.Absolutely love themUpdate: February 26, 2025One of my headlamps just died yesterday. I think maybe it got turned on while it was in my bag of clothes and I didn’t know it and the battery got completely drained. But also I do believe that this is the one that I hit with my barn door so that really doesn’t surprise me and that happened months ago. My other one is going strong after fifteen months of being used every day even in the rain. I just try not to let it get too wet and then dry it asap. So I will now order another one, but I really think that hitting it is why it isn’t working. It got hit really hard and it really hurt.Still my favorite headlamps ever.

Is this the best light out there for the money? Might be.
I have used the light for about a week now and it seems to be a great headlamp so far. All the features are very useful. You can lock the light in the off position so it doesn’t come on accidentally in your backpack. Has high, low, medium, red and boost. I used boost on the trail the other night when I was geocaching for about an hour. The light is extremely bright and you can adjust the lighting by turning the outer lens in or out to make it a spot light for long distance or a very large bright light right in front of you. Battery only used 1 of the green lights up out of 4 green lights which is good . Seems to be made well and works great. Will see what long term use brings us. But I’m sure it will be fine.

Bright!
Would have give it 3 1/2 but I’ll round up for how bright it is. First impressions the light is heavy and could use a little more padding up front. I opened it up put it on charge until full and used it around the barn last night. Super bright like insanely bright. Time will tell how long the battery will last but we’ll see. I do not like the fact that the flags are not colored as pictured! I’m almost tempted to send it back just for that but I don’t have time to play around with ups.

Good to know about lock mode
Worked very well for six months and then simply stopped working. I was about to throw it away, but followed up with Amazon and talked to the companies customer service. I’ve received an email very promptly who said that it may be in lock mode. I gave a long press to the power button and it returned to normal!I think there should be a better explanation of lock mode and how to avoid going into it. That being said, I was very happy with customer service.

It has a red light, floats on water, bright.
This headlamp has a red light for bugs. I love this headlamp, an so does others I work with. So far I bought 3 in 2 years because they keep getting stolen. Its very durable, floats on water, and very bright. One down side you can not use a speed charger on it.

Rechargeable, twice as bright as other head lamps.
It comes with a rechargeable battery. The headlamp is much brighter than others and the straps adjust to your head leaving your hands free. I've bought about 10 for the car, work shop and around the house.

We were happy with the first one.
This is the second DanForce headlamp we’ve purchased. Old one (2-3) years is still charging well, but the strap broke. We’ve had other brands and felt they weren’t as reliable.
