This is the second time we’ve purchased these treads- our first set lasted close to 8 years before we needed to replace them due to overall wear. The treads are very easy to install- vacuum well and are durable. Good value.

They work well, stay in place as well. The color worked out awesome.

Very easy to apply and looks good. Areas on some that are not adhering to stairs…usually an end or the very center. Our dog will now comfortably come up the stairs so we are glad to have purchased this product.

Easy to install and durable so far. Bought these because my dog was starting to have a hard time going down the steps in our house without falling. These help her grip better when she runs down them. They do require vacuuming frequently though

Love the texture, and it's easy to clean. Just wish the adhesive could have been stronger.

The media could not be loaded.  We moved into a new house with smooth wooden stairs, and noticed the dog was having a little trouble with them. Well, on the second day he made it to the top of the longest staircase, slipped, started sliding backwards, then flipped over on his back and fell all the way down the steps! Thankfully, he didn't break any bones, but it's not something we wanted to risk happening again.After blocking all the stairs with boxes (to keep him from trying it again) we immediately started looking for some stair treads and these are the ones we picked. They don't have any adhesive sticky stuff or glue which is perfect because we're renters and don't want to ruin these (brand new) stairs or spend time scraping gunk off later. Instead of adhesive these have an electro-static backing that holds the treads in place. It's amazing how well it works!My husband put these on the stairs in about 15 minutes and now our dog can go up and down the steps with ease & confidence. For us humans it also feels more secure to step on and I can imagine that it will be safer for my kids running up and down in their socks in the winter.

I purchased these for my pup, he has cancer and has been having a lot of trouble getting up and down our hardwood stairs. I clean and individually wiped down each stair before putting down these treads (as other reviewers had suggested they may not stick otherwise). not only did my second (healthy) dog kick these off on her way up the stairs, after I re-cleaned the stairs and applied them I was walking up the stairs to get my toddler from his nap and the tread sent me flying down the stairs. I am just grateful that this happened on my way UP to get the baby and not on my way down with the baby in my arms. They look nice and the gray material feels like a good quality- but unless you are able/willing to glue these down (or prepared to take an unplanned descent down the stairs on your backside) then don't waste your money.

We have very slippery wood stairs and a toddler. We wanted to get something to make it easier for her to go up the stairs and reduce the risk of her slipping. These were super easy to put on. I was afraid that the adhesive wouldn't last and that they would eventually start coming off, but it's a couple months in and they are showing no sign of being any less adhered to the wood stairs. They haven't shifted when walking on them or in any way moved out of place. Adhesive isn't really the right description, because it isn't like glue or anything, it is more like a textured gel material that holds the strip in place. We had to readjust one (it was slightly misaligned from the others when we put it on) and simply lifted it up (no residue or anything on the wood) and straightened it out. So, these don't leave any trace of having been there if you decide to remove them and readjusting/moving them didn't make them any less effective. Would definitely recommend.

I spent weeks looking at various stair treads before deciding on these. Have found them to be a great choice - colour matched was as described and look great on our staircase.My only tiny complaint would be the difficulty in removing the backing paper (some treads had easier to remove backing than others).If I hadn't had trouble removing some backing, the treads would've been placed in 10 minutes - but even with my fumbling it still only took 20 minutes to do the entire staircase which I thought was excellent.Having said that though, the product itself is great and none of the treads have moved out of place even with constant heavy use, and weekly vacuuming.Have no hesitation in recommending.

We have a pine staircase which can be slippery especially for our dog. We have tried non slip tape on the stair edges but it was never sufficient enough. These took hubby about 1/2 hour to install (including cleaning before applying) and they are excellent. The backing is not sticky yet they adhere perfectly without movement, their thickness is nice and the amount you get in the pack is way more than if you buying something similar at a hardware store; they can also be cut to size easily. Highly recommended especially if you have pets or kids
