Windows 8 User?s Manual: A Complete Guide to Use Windows 8 like a Professional

Already knowing the basics of Windows 8 I was looking for something that would help me use it like a professional quoting the title of this book. Instead its just a bunch of shortcut commands. There were some helpful tips and tricks, but for how short the book was, there was not enough. If you are very new to Windows 8 this book will be a nice overview, but if you want to really learn some advanced tricks I would look elsewhere.

functional tutorial. should have waited for 8.1 to come out. useful for clients trying to understand win8. helpful guide to workout an understanding of OS.

Really didn't answer my questions.

This lives up to it's true title as the missing book I really don't know why was no released by Microsoft when they released the program

Very basic with too much background infoation that is not needed to operate software. Fair buy for the price but do not expect a lot.

I like the clear instructions. Easy to follow. The book mentions many of the concerns that I had about Windows 8.

It not of much use. I guess it's ok if you don't know how to turn on a computer....just VERY basic

It covers the good, bad and the horrible about Windows 8... or as I have been calling it, Windows h8.There are lots of color illustrations and explanations of almost anything that is needed for dealing with Win8.The book also explains what features are missing with Win8 and a few suggestions to get those features back.I still don't like Windows8 but this book will help a new user to make the transition easier.

rubbish waste of time

I returned the computer when windows 8 allowed me to receive emails but when I wanted to search the net it told me I wasn't connected. Windows 8 is the worst operating system ever. I won't use anything Microsoft again. So I cannot rate the book

thIs is not a user's manual because it does not tell you how to use most of the features or functions of Windows 8. It just briefly describes some of the features of Windows 8. It cannot be classified as a user guide, not to mention a 'complete user guide'.
