Review: Very nice! - We are currently using this seat protector with a Chicco Keyfit 30 Infant Carrier. We have the Prince Lionheart 2 Stage Seatsaver, Black in our other car. This one is much nicer. The material is more cloth like than rubbery on the Prince Lionheart, it's thicker and more sturdy, it has the no slip strips on both sides, and it provides better coverage on both the seat bottom and back. It looks better when it's in place as well. It looks light gray in the pictures here, but it's actually more charcoal gray. Yesterday, I pulled out the base for the carrier and checked the seat after it being in for a month. Just leaving a box on the seats for a few hours can leave a dent, so I was a little worried. I was pleased to see that there were no marks or indentations. If you are debating between this one and the Prince Lionheart, definitely go with this one. Nothing wrong with the Prince Lionheart, but this one is much better for just a few bucks more. Update 12/14: We're now using this seat protector with a Britax Advocate G4.1 Convertible Car Seat, Silver Diamonds . The seat by itself is 22 pounds. I've pulled the car seat and protector out a few times to clean the seat bottom and after 16 months of use there are no marks or indentations on the seat whatsoever. This really is a great product. I've soured a bit on the Prince Lionheart since my first review. It hasn't held up nearly as well as the Brica, even with far less usage. The Brica looks just as good now as the day it went in. The back piece on Brica lays flat against the seat back and stays in place because of the headrest strap while the Prince Lionheart kind of flops around. Really, for another ~$4 the Brica is a no brainer. I'm ordering another one as we speak... Update: I keep reading comments that say this product and others like it aren't safe to use. Regardless of if you use this product or not, you need to make sure the seat is snug. This was a two person job when we switched from LATCH to the seat belt. The bottom line is that the car seat shouldn't move more than 1" in any direction. It took a bit of doing but the seat is tight. I'm confident that this is a safe installation.
