Sunshine Kids Dry Seat Pad, Grey (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I've used two of the Kidoppotomus Piddle Pads - the regular and the Deluxe - as well as this Sunshine Kids one. The Sunshine Kids one is stiffer, and my daughter seems to dislike it; she's forever pulling it out of her seat, refusing to sit on it. She never did that with the Piddle Pad, although of course she was younger and less opinionated. Still, this one comes out even when I'm just putting my daughter in or taking her out of her seat, so I constantly have to put it back - I liked the Piddle Pad better. All in all, though the concept behind this (and similar) product is genius - I won't leave home without these in each kid's seat. Last year, we had a major diaper blow-out in the middle of a two-day drive. I was able to pull out the Piddle Pad (this was before we had the Sunshine Kid one, which we got after baby #2 was born), and toss the pad and the clothes into the washer. An hour later, everything was good as new. If I'd had to try to clean the carseat in a hotel parking lot, 350 miles from home, I would *not* have been happy!

The first set I bought leaked like a seive. I returned the 2 and received new ones that work. The only downfall is that they slide around when my 3-year-old gets in the car seat by herself. It's convenient to remove the seat to shake out crumbs without having to remove the whole car seat. Fortunately, for me, the seat hasn't been tested for accidents. I did try it in under the kitchen faucet prior to installing it and it did not leak. It's possible that liquid could get through the openings on the sides for the car seat belts - but i'm not sure how any manufacturer could avoid that problem. I'd recommend this product.

I purchased this for my toddler, who has sometimes has accidents in the car. I looked at this product and the piddle pad. I got this one because reviewers on the piddle pad complained that the pad doesn't stay in place and this pad seemed to fit more securely (velcro to attach around belt straps and seat belt buckle slot). This pad doesn't stay in place very well and gets in the way of buckling since it bunches up around the buckle so you can't get to it. My son had an accident and some of it still leaked onto the car seat. I still use it as a safeguard, but I'm in the market for something better.I think that it's ok for use with an infant who doesn't get in and out of car seat, but toddlers climbing in and out move pad around too much for easy use.

Very nice way to keep from deep cleaning and detailing your car if someone has an accident...helps it stop at the car seat at most!Sometimes I have to reposition it but I couldn't be without it.

This is another example of Great Savings for a Discontinued product.Fits perfectly in the Sunshine Car Seat and removes easily for a quick clean in the washing machine.Great Product and Value.

im really happy with this product. it gives the car seat a nice look. its comfortable. super easy to install. and fits perfectly. we haven't had a diaper explosion yet, but when we do, it looks like it will do its job. i am glad i purchased it. shipping was really fast too..

Product is okay. I had to always reposition it. It never stayed put, causing more of a hassle than a solution. The fabric constantly bunched up, or would slide down as I would sit my daughter in her car seat. The fabric isn't as soft as I would have liked it to be.

My little guy sometimes gets car sick and this really helps with making the cleanup easier! I am sure they will also be helpful when it comes time to potty train.

Arrived quick, great packaging. Fitted my toddlers car seat. Only down fall it moves when she first gets on it, but I just hold in place till she sits down and I fasten her in. She's not wet in it yet so don't know if it protects seat just yet.

Fantastic, fits on my car seat, pushchair and pram. Keeps them it only dry, when their has been an 'accident' but also clean. Really easy to put on the wash And dries quickly.

seems to do the job although have not had to use it properly as yet. Stays in place on the seat though which others don't
