As someone with Blood Pressure issues I can't take most OTC medications when I feel like I'm getting a cold or have nausea that is possibly the start of a flu. I have tried other Coricidin products with good results but this is my first time trying the cold & flu variety.I had been feeling sniffly with the typical allergy-like stuffy nose, watery eyes, and muscle aches for about week before trying any medication, hoping it would go away on it's own... but then I saw these pills and thought, why not try them?While these pills are mostly acetaminophen with a small does of an antihistamine, I figured it was worth a shot. Within 24 hours of taking just two doses I was already feeling better. I test my Blood Pressure several times a day and didn't notice any spikes, unlike when I have tried taking other cold medicines in the past. Sure, these pills are not as strong as typical maximum strength cold medicines with other additional ingredients, but if they help me get better and not mess with my blood pressure, I'm happy.I'd say even after the first two pill dose within a couple hours I was already feeling improvements, my eyes were not watering as much and I could feel my nose opening up. I'm quite shocked with how well these worked for me and I plan on keeping them on hand for when I feel a cold coming on in the future.I will update my review if my thoughts change, for now I think these are a solid value, especially for those of us with HBP.

I'm new to the world of Coricidin products, but I can't help but really love this Coricidin HBP that offers cold relief for people with high blood pressure.I ordered and received this pack that includes five boxes of Coricidin HBP with each box containing 10 tablets each. This is truly a great deal on a great product.This is ideal for people with the usual cold and flu symptoms - runny nose, fever, sore throat, sneezing, and body aches/pains. However, this is specifically formulated to be safer for those with high blood pressure or, in my case, borderline high blood pressure.It is worth noting that this product contains acetaminophen - so if you have issues with acetaminophen you may want to consult with your physician to see if this is right for you.There is an expiration date on the boxes of 9/2024. I checked and every box had the same date. This gives me about 16 months. While I hope I don't have the cold or a flu that often, I still prefer having the supplies on hand and this would be especially handy for families.Coricidin is made by Bayer and it is decongestant free.Overall, I'm finding this product to be very effective and it's certainly well priced. While I'm new to the Coricidin world, this is a definite winner and there's no doubt I'll look to the product again.
