I am alwys happy with HiLetGo delivery and product value.The original Smart Controller Board in my Tornado 3D print encoder failed.The Tornado has a MKS GenL V1.0 motherboard and at first the LCD would notlight up. Found that I did have to reverse the ribbon cables at the controller whichrequires sanding off the connector key. Once I did that everything fired right upand the printer is back online.Did not rate the Touch Screen category simply because this display is not touch screen

the display works nice, a good addition to my ANET A8 printer, the only problem I found is the the pins are wrong backward had to reverse the pin locater around, with needle nose pliers carful not to damage the pins, went to all four corners little by little until it came off then reversed it. other wise would be 5 stars

If you read some forums about the original clones of the Discount Smart controller the said you have to flip the sockets over on the board. This is not true with this unit.. CURRENT REVIEW: 1/06/2024Quality control seems non-existent, this one the POT to adjust contrast DOES NOT WORK. It is also so bright that TEXT is washed out. HORRIBLE.Debating if I want to go through the hassle of packing it for return AGGRAVATING! After waiting for it to ship then getting a complete lemon.PREVIOUS REVIEW:Contrast not as high and sharp as previously purchased.WARNING!!(Accidentally placing a STEPPER DRIVER in upside down, will more than likely FRY EVERYTHING including this connected LCD).For this reason specifically, STEPPER DRIVERS should be designed with an alignment PEG/HOLE, making installing upside down impossible - this is a simple design change, not requiring fancy resistors or capacitators. FOR ALL MAIN BOARDS

Was absolutely perfect on my Tevo tornado.

Just got it. Not sure how to wire it without a diagram yet. Not sure if it will work on an UNO and a CNC sheild

The unit looks and works well however a lot of frustration can be resolved with any documentation for the device.

Works great on my MPCNC running a BTT SKR 1.4 Turbo
