When you put this on, you will feel like a celebrity. If you don't like being the center of attention, don't get this. It's not really a typical cowboy hat, it's more of a gambler type hat. I found that the official name is the Stetson Black Hawk. It has great felt. Don't worry about looking for X's, the quality is there - hey, it's a Stetson. Whether you want to wear it for a night on the town or track down fugitives - this is your hat. You will look good in it. You will get noticed. No one will ask you where your horse is. Thugs will run because they will assume that you are packing heat. Yeah, this is that kinda hat.

My son ordered this hat and it’s excellent quality and he loves the fit. He ordered a medium and it was a little snug, but this hat will “break in” and be perfect. It arrived exactly as described and well packaged.

The product appeared to be of good quality, after all, it is a Stetson. It arrived really well packaged in a suitable box and wrapped in foam, plastic, and another wrap to prevent damage. However, despite my careful head measurement, the hat was way too large. I would have ordered a replacement size but was told I would have to return for credit and re-order.

I was looking at this hat for a very long time. I finally broke down and bought it.When it arrived the brim of the hat is floppy. It is not stiff like normal hats. I had to purchase an additional felt stiffener spray to try and get the brin to what I would consider as a normal hat. I have not received the spray yet. But if you are expecting this hat to be like the others, it is not.If I had to do it again knowing that the brim is floppy and soft, I most likely would have never bought the hat. I have NEVER seen a hat that was constructed this way. Especially, coming from the caliber of company Stetson, one would expect more quality of a hat.My recommendation would be to not purchase this hat. I am very very disappointed.

This vendor and the hat they sold me don't deserve the 5 stars I gave them. They deserve at least 6. First, the hat arrived 3 days sooner than promised. This was important to me because I'm the lead guitarist and a front man in a rock band and it arrived in time for me to wear at a concert we're playing at early next week. Second, it was carefully packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Third, it fit perfectly. Finally, the hat's quality is higher than expected--not just costume junk--and seems like a good value. Oh, yeah, and it's a real Stetson Made in America. What's there not to love?

No me gusto el material, parecía más un gorro de fieltro, perdia la forma ya que no tenia dureza como un sombrero y venía aplastado y chueco. Sin calidad stetson.

The media could not be loaded. Bought for my husband’s birthday, he loved it. Quality of hat is excellent . Band is secure and hat fits perfectly. Excellent product, no complaints. Looks very handsome and cool!

I own one fur felt fedora from Stetson, and while I like it a lot, I find it a bit impractical. I wanted a hat that I could wear outdoors in all weather, and treat roughly without worrying about ruining it. The Hawk works perfectly. Pops back into shape when crushed or bent, although I wouldn't recommend squashing it into a bag for a long flight as it may not go back to it's original shape completely without steaming. The brim is wide enough to offer good sun protection but not oversized. Very water resistant, I wore it in the rain for a few hours, and my head stayed completely dry. The hat dried quickly, and didn't deform or bleed black dye onto my head. Very nice hat.

Ce chapeau de marque Stetson a la forme que je préfère car il n'est pas trop Western , il s'agit du style Gambler ; j'ai déja des gens qui me disent que j'ai un bien beau chapeau et j'en suis très fiers . Je le porte pour les sorties propres autant qu'à l'ordinaire . Je l'ai acheté Amazon sur internet .Jacques

Très beau chapeau de feutre donc structure un peu molle mais vraiment très confortable. Tient vraiment bien sûr la tête. Pour sélectionner la bonne grandeur voir la charte sur le site de Stetson directement. Amazon ne l'affiche pas sur son site donc une étoile de moins pour cette raison.
