Waterproof Leg Cast Cover

Have to say, I've never owned a cast cover before. I was using a bag and duct tape which was mostly a failure. The doctor had mentioned getting one of these as I wasn't supposed to get my foot wound wet. This arrived and it's perfect. Easy on, easy off, and not a drop of water on my wound dressing. Ever. I'm 5'-11" tall and this extends a few inches below my knee making it a perfect fit. The rubber collar keeps all the water out easily. There is plenty of room for my foot and it's dressing, and the material isn't very slippery despite wearing it in a wet shower. However, do be careful entering & exiting your shower. Better to be cautious. Anyway, I've used it for two weeks now. There's no sign of any wear. It works as well as it did from day one, and it's made my ordeal much easier! Wish I didn't need it at all, but it's been a great help and a great buy.

Have just used this item once but it worked perfectly. We had a little bit of trouble getting it over his heel but he has a huge cast/wrap on his foot. Even with that it wasn't too hard. He even soaked in the tub and his leg and cast stayed completely dry. After I helped him get it on, he was able to do the rest of his bath without help. Excellent product. As for durability it seems very strong. We have only used it once but is definitely not fragile. If it rips after just a couple uses, I will update this post.

Worked really well and was really durable when wife had to have foot surgery. SO much easier than plastic wrap or a garbage bag. Easy to put on and she could do it herself. Fit snugly around the leg so there was no leakage or danger of getting bandages\wound wet, yet was comfortable as well. Will definitely use again when needed. Very happy with purchase - it performed excellently. A+

This works great for keeping water out. The part at the top, that initially fits over a round plastic piece is challenging to get back on the plastic piece after use, but we used binder clips to help get it back on by one person. if there are two people, it wouldn't be too hard to do. we are very happy with this product.

So I guess maybe there's no perfect solution for keeping all the water out completely, but after trying to rubber band & medical tape a tightly tied trash bag & it still leaking quite a bit, I decided to try something professionally made. This has been the best option to work so far, but I've only gotten to keep the watee out 100% once. It helped to add 2 rubber bands below the elastic top on the cover. And I'm kinda small, & found the cover works a little better if you pull it up as far on the thigh as possible for the tightest possible suction. At least it's faster/easier prep for a shower than a trash bag & has also been handy for keeping the cast dry when watering the plants.

Works great. No leaking easy to slip on.

Great until it breaks 😩 I used this from July-early Sept, then again Dec - this very moment in time. I have had 2 foot surgeries to fuse the bones in both feet, and this thing was a life saver. I couldn’t use it with the first cast you come out of surgery with, because it is very large/thick/Frankenstein-foot-like and the hard plastic ring was too small to fit over it. When I got the smaller cast a couple weeks later, this cover popped right over the cast easily and it never leaked. I am 2 weeks out from getting my final cast removed and I went to take a shower and the soft rubber tore immediately! I am so sad to secure a trash bag with a rubber band over my cast.... so basically, this item was awesome! Until it wasn’t..... I would assume it would last longer than 4 months of 2-3 uses per week 😔 if you don’t need it for as long as I did, then it’s perfect for you!

After rupturing my Achilles’ tendon and having subsequent surgery, I knew I couldn’t continue to take baths. Not only was getting in and out of the tub treacherous- I’m non weight bearing on that leg for 6 weeks!- frankly, I don’t like sitting in my own filth. Sorry to those of you that LOVE baths, they’re just not for me. And no. I’m not THAT dirty, but you get what I mean. This leg cover is AMAZING!!! Took my first shower today- with the help of a great little shower stool I bought on Amazon, too. Easy to put on and it kept my leg completely dry. It covers up to my knee. I’m about 5’5”. LOVE THIS THING!!!!
