Bought this as a Valentine’s Day gift for a baby I nanny. He is 4 months old and loves being read to. Although, some books he doesn’t like as much. Can’t blame him I guess. But he sits through this one every time and I think it’s super cute! Adorable book and cute illustrations throughout. Also love the message.

I bought this for my 2 year old daughter but she tore some pages and defaced some pictures. She told me that she was scared of some drawings and that she felt sorry for the sad babies. Only around five, the illustrations got appealing for her and she started appreciating it, so I had to buy a kindle version too, to read the book completely whenever she picked up from her bookcase.Other than that, this book is wonderfully illustrated and the storyline is mostly asking questions and making suggestions for character traits; though it’s not very suitable for two year olds, as advised by the editors.

My 4-year old loves this book. I love it too because of the positive message. The artwork is beautiful & holds his attention. But I’ve gotta say one thing: these paper covers that wrap books are really not intended for 4-year olds. It’s the first thing that goes missing. This book doesn’t have it’s title underneath the paper cover, so I taped that thing to the book as snugly as possible & that’s done the trick (so far). Excellent book for little kids, & big ones too.

I bought this for a baby shower. The theme for a lot of baby showers now a days is to being a book in place of a greeting card. It is such a lovely idea. I wrote a personal message inside the cover for Mom & Dad and baby! The story in the book is very sweet. It contains many beautiful pictures.

I actually received this book by mistake with a baby shower gift I ordered from Amazon and got to keep it. Turned out to be my entire family's favorite book! The illustrations are gorgeous, the story is THE BEST, and the babies/kids pictured are diverse. We started reading it when my daughter was under 1 and now at 14 months, she grabs it every day!
