Review: A "Sick" Little Book - I loved this book for my children and classroom in the 1990's, as it explained the complicated processes that happens to our bodies when we get sick in interesting and easy-to-understand ways - without leaving out the science that takes place in the process - AND teaches ways to avoid getting sick in the first place. I left my original copy with another teacher at some point, but was so glad to find a used copy for my granddaughters. Review: Very well written and good presentation of the subject - Well presented information - language is not too complex but they use the actual proper terms for everything, while keeping the conversation on kids level, with just enough silly elements. Very educational for kids and adults - good overview of facts, how and why, and what to do to prevent the spread of germs and sickness. Five year old likes it, and asks follow up questions, and talks about the learned material

Good book
I like this book. I got it originally for Pre-k, not really paying attention to the level. I would say it's definitely too advanced for Pre-k it's probably for 2nd and up. However, I am still going to use it just maybe read in smaller sections because it gives lots of good info on staying healthy which can only help for covid19.

Good...but wish it had "tips"
We really enjoy reading these book and it is full of awesome information as with all of the "Read and Find-Out Science" books. My only wish is that included reinforcements on HOW to help keep the germs AWAY...wash hands...cover coughs and sneezes...etc. Still a VERY good book and will open discussion on how to help keep the germs away...sometimes it is just good to hear it from someone other than your mother:) Recommended.

Great for kids
Great for kids and teaching them about germs and why we cover our face when we cough and sneeze and why it’s important to wash our hands. Daughter is 4 and understands the concepts in the book easily.

Informative!
I bought this because I wanted a book that described germs actually and as something other than scary monsters. This book did the job! It's super science based and even though I worried it was too and for my 4yo, she was fascinated and she still talks about how her white blood cells are eating her germs!

Interesante
