This map looks great on the wall and it was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be to put up. The sticky back is fairly forgiving for repositioning. When I first got the set, I thought it was going to be a lot harder with all the pieces, but it really only took about 15 minutes or so, with 2 people, and I suppose the more precise you want to be, the longer it will take. But the good tips are to start with Africa as the center piece, look for connecting landmasses and make sure the words are horizontal when you are placing the pieces.

I bought a large decal and installed it in my previous house. When we moved my son wanted the same map in his room. I found this and ordered it. It is significantly more affordable and easier to install than the prior version I had. My son loves it!

So I ordered the large like new used decal . They look great and make a great addition to my living room wall . They are very easy to peel off and stick and there are instructions on one of the sheets . I would suggest printing out a sample world map and start sticking as it is much easier .Now you can definitely remove and restick if you mess up but they don’t last on the wall longer . As it is I find some portions sticking up from the surface so I’m not sure how long this will last . Besides that this map decal is lovely and I’m happy I got the large as anything lesser would not have had a impactReview update :The stickers are not holding up . In less than 24 hrs they are bumping off the wall . I saw a few on the floor when I woke up . So returning them . Sad they look so beautiful but did my hold up for even a few hours

I love this map on my wall. It looks fantastic and matches any decor. My friends are constantly admiring it.Only reason that I gave it 4 instead of 5, is that having a guide for placement would have been helpful. I used my other (antique paper) map as a reference for how far N. America should be from Europe, where Cuba should be in relation to FL and Mexico, and same for other islands.**Also**I would recommend using a level to ensure that you put it up straight. I used my level to level the bottom of the nation names. It worked very well, and looks perfectly straight.(P.s. it does come with ocean & continent names. I did not put them up)

This product is absolutely perfect for my children's "Get Out and Explore" themed play room. The decals were super easy to put up and they were super forgiven. I was able to move the pieces around to the desired position (although I'm sure that my distances are still not to scale lol).The unit came on three separate sheets that were labeled with letters, additionally, a (very) small decal of the world was provided in order to assist with placement.Some reviewers were concerned about the size of the item, however, I feel that it is a perfect size for the space where I put it...it's not overly large and it's not extremely small. Additionally, I do like the fact that the continents/countries/oceans are labeled as we have traveled to many parts of the world as a family and it provides perspective to our children.Overall, I absolutely recommend this purchase!

I like the decal but it came off the wall soon after I put it up. I think it needs to stick on better and that's my suggestion. Looks very nice though and it's a good size.

This is a very cool addition to our home. We have slightly textured walls but I didn't have any issues with it sticking and it's been hanging strong for a few weeks now. It does take a while to put up but would be a great learning experience if you had kids. I had to measure from the small reference map included to convert it and figure out how far each piece should be from each other. I was able to put the whole thing up by myself in about 2 hours. If you place everything to scale your map should be around 4 feet wide and about 2 feet 2 inches tall.

This wasn't very difficult to put together and I love it. I have it up on my wall as a decoration with my pictures surrounding it and have pins to where I have been. I wish there was a bigger size to this and I would order it for my future house. I also always get complimented on my map and really love seeing it every day. The only day I give it four stars is because even though it isn't very difficult to put together it should be known that the names and parts come separate so you do need effort and time to put together, but it is worth it.
