Nice pet camera
Well, so far it’s it’s pretty good the kitties love the laser and I can keep an eye on them running around the house worth the money great little product. The camera itself works really good tons of features and functions. I do wish there was a better user guide to know what everything and how to do everything but again I do love it.

Great product! My cats like the laser and I am able to keep an eye on them while on vacation. Set up was easy. Carefully read the directions and it does work

Excellent product-to my surprise!
I’m updating my review. I traveled to Can San Lucas March of 2021 and I was very nervous this camera would not work. I had previously kept testing it in little ways such as going to the grocery store and waiting to see if the motion detector would send me an alert (it did). I was looking at my house with the camera like a creeper, moving the camera around to see as many angles as possible (this also worked beautifully.)I left for a week to Cabo and it worked perfect. The motion detector actually picked up my cats’ movements a few times, but 100% detected my cat sitter every time she came in the house and moved around inside the house. I keep the camera up on my mantle for the best views. I tried it on the floor in various spots, and no good. I need to see over my sofa and loveseat, I need to see their food bowls, litter boxes, etc. I need to see where my cat sitter is going at all times and if she is playing with my cats like I’m paying her to do. lolI couldn’t initially figure out how to set this up and I was so angry the motion detector wasn’t working. Two things: 1) During setup, download the app before you start anything! Then scan the QR code either from the box packaging or from the bottom of the unit, and follow the instructions. Same QR code, pick which one you want to scan. 2) Once you are all set up, the motion detector is found in the settings menu. Click on the gear on the right hand side of your screen when you open the app.Side note: If you have questions, email the seller directly. NOT through Amazon. They leave you their email address in the packaging, which is their customer service contact (no phone number), and they will email back within hours. They are located in China somewhere, so if you email at night you’ll get a response within hours because it’s daytime over there. Monday-Friday of course!Happy creeping on your pets with this camera! 😸

Huh? Why such a high average rating? A spy device?
This camera works and works well. I did not buy any of the competing products, which cost much more, so I cannot compare them. Why do I give it a low review, then?Well, the product has a strange setup procedure. The camera comes with a small two-sided business card with two QR codes on either side, one for the Android app and the other for the iOS app. You scan the correct one with your phone, and it would take you to the app.I scanned the Android one, for my phone. The link did not direct me to the Google Play store. Instead, it was a URL to a website in China, by the ".ch" suffix. My browser was scared stiff.Instead of downloading it from there, I went to the Google App store and searched on the app's name. I was able to find it. The app had a review rating of just over 3 stars, a far cry from the nearly perfect 5 star rating I see on the Amazon storefront.I followed the instructions which involved powering up the camera and doing specific actions on the phone app based on some audible cues from the camera. Then, a QR code was shown on my phone and I showed it to the camera and it was able to connect to the WiFi network and also to an account I had to create. I seem to recall needing to so something with incense and an incantation and some fancy footwork. So great, I have it set up. I can start the app on my phone and scan around the room. This device is also advertised as a security camera, too. It makes sense. There were several of us who live in the house. I just have to download the app and log into the account that I created on all of the phones. Easy, right?Well ... not so much. Every phone needed a separate account to be created. For this one camera and three members of the household, we had to create three brand new accounts. Why do they need so many emails for? Also, I noticed that if I run the app on my phone and then I navigate to the home screen, it is still burning my battery. The app asks for permissions for everything: pictures, movies, camera, voice, media files, network. Why does it need so much access? Of all of the apps I have on my phone, this one is in second place for requesting for the most permissions. What is it doing on my phone that is burning so much battery? And all of a sudden it makes sense why this is so much cheaper than competing products with the same features. My advice for those of you looking to buy this, skip it.There are a lot of behaviors that the app did not need to do but it does. I will look to replace it the first chance I get. Until then, if there is someone who is hoping to see compromising video from within my mom's house, well, they'll just have to make do with hours and hours of watching her watch TV.
