From the Manufacturer: Blue Monster thread sealing tape is manufactured from PTFE resin, a polymer consisting of recurring tetrafluoroethylene monomers. It is inert and compatible with a very wide range of materials. Use Blue Monster on threads made from galvanized steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, CPVC, ABS, fiberglass and more. Compatible with a broad range of gases and liquids as well as piping materials. Blue Monster is rugged and has not been stretched during the manufacturing process, so it is thicker and creates a more effective seal with less tape, and no need for pipe dope. After 30 minutes of searching, I finally found it, took everything apart, applied the teflon tape, reassembled, and VOILA! - no leakage. The tape was easy to work with and apply. Two rolls is probably enough to last me a lifetime, but it was a good price compared to the smaller rolls from other sellers. Professional Preferred
Ordered this based on the reviews I'd already read. Did not disappoint. Very soft and easy to apply to pipe threads. I went to the local supply house to grab a few pipe nipples and saw that Blue Monster is what they sell there. I asked the guy at the desk if it was selling well. He said all the pipefitters that come there to buy supplies love it. A+

It's monstrously blue
It's blue monster. use it on your wife's lips if she talks to much....okay, not cool... but it works, for other sealing issues very very well.
