A great drone to learn flying FPV!
I am a builder/pilot and enjoy 3-5" racing drones, but this Tinyhawk is great for indoor flying during bad weather, or to learn on, as it is almost indestructible. The camera feed is a Runcam with great video feed, and I get 5-6 min flights on a single 650 mah battery. Betaflight is used to configure settings, and setup and binding is easy. This is a big drone in a small package, and impressive.

Just get it, don't wait.
I now have three of these little guys.I'm a commercial drone pilot, and love flying. But all of my work drones are aided in flight by GPS. So I wanted to get into FPV for enjoyment. This is the perfect little bird for that. The EMAX THII is becoming one of the hottest little drones on the market. So much so, that between their popularity and the silliness of COVID shutdowns, they're hard to keep in stock. This is an indoor drone though. The slightest breeze makes them an adventure to fly outside. But their indoor range is good. And they are incredibly durable. Two of mine have hit the ground so many times I couldn't even hazard a guess. I've even flown them full throttle into the ground (and cement) by accidentally giving them full throttle when they're only 1/2 though a flip or roll. The only issue is that the LED lights on two of them are not all working, and the rx antenna is broken on one. Even with the partial antenna on the one, I still get decent range.Get more props, you will want them. And lots of batteries. Get the 1s, you don't need the 2s.Seriously, get this thing. If you don't have the controller and goggles, then get the RTF set instead of the BNF single bird.

Awesome!!!!
Love this thing, you can fly outdoors with a good breeze it has the power to hang in there. And can fly in almost darkness it's crazyCamera does look awesome people are not lying it's a great beginner set up. Definitely verry durable! And pretty quick on 2 cell. But if you want something to learn from, fly outside as long as it's not too windy and have something that is very stable in the air this would be a smart choice. Very fun for small areas like your front yard zipping around to the neighbors yard stuff like that. I took to a large park one day and it just seemed so slow was not fun it was just to big of a area for that. But indoors and backyard stuff it feels like it's very fast! And safe if you hit a kid lol no damage will happen I wouldn't think from this little guy.

Explore new levels of frustration: TinyHawk, Immense PITA
Bought the RTF kit and lost the drone almost instantly—the throttle is extremely sensitive, especially if you don’t have experience. Bought a BNF to replace it. Now I’ve committed over 300 dollars. I really wanted to fly this thing. Guess what? It doesn’t work with the rtf radio unless you do some complicated computer stuff. I don’t have a computer. Bought a frsky radio. THAT radio doesn’t work with tiny hawk 2 unless you buy a $50 add-on. Manual is garbage (for everything—drone, radio, radio add-on. I bought a $&@) computer and spent hours on YouTube. I ought to be able to play with this $&@& toy, right? I hate YouTube! I can not figure this garbage out! Im going to cut my losses and try a different fpv. My advice, avoid FRSKY and EMAX like the plague. Tomorrow morning I’m going to fix the drone, both radios, the radio add-on and the crummy goggles with a baseball bat. It’s going to be a good day. The computer’s a keeper, though! —- E D I T —-T W O W E E K S L A T E R…Maybe I could’ve cooled off a bit before submitting that review. I’m leaving it because if you aren’t experienced in electronics, maybe you’re a couple decades wiser than the typical TinyHawk2 pilot, well, you might get frustrated. You KNOW I did! I’m so very glad I kept at it because it is THE BEST TOY I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Real talk. Get one. If you have a buddy that can help you get started maybe you won’t lose your temper and have to sleep on the couch like I did one night. Everything is aces now, though. Good luck! It’s so fun!!!

Solder the motor leads on and you're golden
I love this thing. It is so much fun to fly and I have bashed it into walls going full speed and it takes right off like nothing happened. Incredibly durable. 2S is ridiculous on such a small framed quad too, I use 2S outdoors only. Left the betaflight rates alone and just tweaked the OSD and beeper controls (added a 5V buzzer, a must on such a small quad in case you lose it). Theres only one big setback with this version of the tinyhawk: the motors are connected to the AIO using connectors.I started having tons of issues with motors stopping mid-flight and the quad just felt very sluggish on 1S. I thought it was the ESCs but it turned out that it was actually the motor connectors. I got rid of them and directly soldered the motor leads to the AIO. After doing so, the quad feels great. I can make much sharper maneuvers than I have been able to in the past on 1S and the quad feels super peppy. Also got rid of the stall during flight and takeoff problem I was having. EMAX should definitely consider soldering the motors directly to the board from the factory opposed to having the connectors. Made a huge difference for me.Overall a great quad for the money, as long as you are handy and understand that a hobby requires work sometimes :)

Had a bad one but don't let that spoil the fun!
Hey I orginally ordered one and it flew great but the fc shot out and stopped showing battery volatge and eventually fell out of the sky. And never powered on again. This was within a week.... Now this being said I've had at least 6 of these and this is the only one that this has happen too. I assume it was one bad lemon from the batch. Every other one I've had has flown like a dream and comes with a great pretune. Wouldn't recommend on 2s, just grab the sport version. Either way I returned the disfunctional one and got a brand new one no Problem... Very great customer service and great drone!

Quality control
It's a great drone! Has great control and easy to fly..Problem with these is quality control is nowhere to be found. First one I ordered had bad soldered to the vtx. Returned got another one and after the second battery the pin in the battery connector broke and was not getting any power... Ordered XT 30 connector And fixed it myself.. So good luck!
