Are these dance tights sheer or are they thick?

Hi they are in the middle!! You can see her legs through but they are certainly not as thin as tights. I bought a couple of pairs as she trains 8 hours a week and they have worn fine.

Are these shiny or have a shimmer to them ?

mine are a matte colour but have a slight polished shimmer in bright lighting

I can't see a size guide or chart, my child is 164cm and wears an 8/10 in adult sizes. Would this correspond to an S or M here? thanks.

Medium is height 162-172cm / 36 -42" hips, so I'd go with that unless she is very thin.
