The item looked great online and had lots of good feedback, so I was confident in purchasing this for my toddler. The car was screwed to the packaging, which was annoying, but I was able to get it off with some effort. The trouble started after I put the batteries in the car, turned it on, and set it in front of my highly expectant toddler. He loved the lights, but the stars went out from his eyes when the remote for the car failed to function. It would only recognize left turns, and only occasionally. He grabbed a screwdriver and asked me to "Fix it Daddy", but nothing could be done. My toddler's night was ruined (he started crying) by what was supposed to be a special present from me.I have to wonder about all the 5-star reviews on here, since they all seem to have been paid (or discounted) for their review. I cannot recommend this item due to poor quality control. Do not buy this for young children who may get overly disappointed when it doesn't work.P.s. The car also does not turn left or right. It only spins. This was not clear to me from the product description.

Would not work when we loaded batteries in it. I took the car apart and found an electrical connection that was broken. A bit of solder and some re-assembly and the car is up and running. If the car worked when we got it I would have given it 5 stars. The instructions said every unit was tested before it was sent. I don't think so. A bunch of 50+ year old kids used it to terrorize 2 cats and 2 small dogs. The car was perfect for that purpose. Lots of light and pretty fast. A ton of fun. I'm sure it will be a hit with the grand kids and cousins when they come to visit.

For a cheap remote control car this car has been a blast to play for my daughter(5) and son (2). It isn't easy to steer left and right but its fun to run up things and flip it all around. It does go through batteries quickly so you may want to invest in some rechargeable batteries to make it more cost effective. The controller seems a little cheaply built but hasn't had any issues in controlling the car, not sure of the point of the two buttons on top as they seem to do the same thing as the left-right joy stick. Over all I would by this again, I think it ended up being my daughters favorite gift.

I havw gotten so many of these for family and friends. They are always a hit!! So fun to play with and colorful!!!

My five-year-old grandson enjoys this remote controlled car and all its maneuvers with the flashing lights. I gave it to him the week before Christmas when her family exchange gifts and it is now almost a month later and he still loves playing with it.

We got this remote control car for my 3 year old son for Christmas! It amazes me that he just turned 3 and has a blast running the car easily all by himself! My husband and other adults have a blast with it also! I would highly recommend this product- would not be the same without the rotating front tires! Great design!

Bought this for my little nephew for he holidays and it was the only toy he kept playing with for more than 5 minutes. Wanted everyone to use it and in fact, I even didn't want to let go of it since there are several different tricks you can make it do! Durable, lots of fun, and great price!

My son (6) absolutely has loved this. It was easy for him to understand how to work it and now spends hours playing with it.
