The rod was about 1/16" smaller so I had to improvise to make it work. Not what I expected for this price.

very rough wood has lots of indentations i will sand it that should make it usable better to pay a little more at ace hardware and be able to inspect before purchase

Under dimensioned in both diameter and length. Not suitable for finish. Dented.

I use this for my shoulder exercises. Works great! Just the right weight, length, and diameter. Solid.
